Spoilers The Flash - Season 3

I'm pretty behind, so apologies if this has been brought already, but does anyone think they might use Flashpoint to fold Supergirl into the same universe as Arrow/Flash/Legends of Tomorrow?

I disagree with Christopher. I am not sure if Flashpoint itself will be the cause, but the December 4 show crossover event will do it. Flashpoint might be the uh, Flashpoint, that will start the process.

Flash = October 4, 2016

Arrow = October 5, 2016.

Supergirl = October 10, 2016.

Legends of Tomorrow = October 13, 2016.

:)

I'm just wondering if legends of Tomorrow will have an impact on Flashpoint too?

Supergirl doesn't just fall through a warphole.

National City entirely translocates too, or retroactively integrates with Barry's Earth, so that's 8 million new people and whatever was supposed to be in that real estate National City is standing on, has been smushed or displaced.

It's just a question of who will know that National City is not supposed to be there, or didn't used to be there? I'm assuming there's some eye of the storm crap going on where it's Barry, Kara and a couple others who know that time has butthurt geography?

"Now who's the villain Flash? Now who's the villain?" You really screwed things up this time, Barry! :lol:

Boy, that trailer gets right to it doesn't it? Not that it's a big surprise but it really lays the cards right out there as to what happens from his actions.

So, based on that trailer

Wally as Kid Flash is only a Flashpoint universe thing? That would suck. besides that, its exactly what I expected. Barry's stupidity and selfishness ruins the world. I really hope this is a 2-3 episode thing, it would be way too irritating if it was longer then that. The show has been generally great so far, so I hope Flashpoint doesn't drag it down.

I think just the opposite. It should be the whole season.

*The entirety of the DCW needs a kick in the ass. Of course, logistically this would be too hard to pull-off, so it will never happen.

Yep. That trailer absolutely rocks!! I especially love the end where the Reverse Flash shouts "Now, who's the villain?" WOW

Personally, I think the 1st half only...and I wonder if that's going to wrap up with the December 4-show crossover?

It would be counterproductive spending the better part of two months setting up independent storylines for all of the series only to discard everything just for the sake of a crossover.

Also, the changes made by Barry's decision have only affected him and the people closest to him and Central City.

So why does it HAVE to negate the storylines? Arrow and Supergirl wouldn't know of those Flashpoint changes, and LoT has time changes all the time, so it might be some occasional one-liners until December.

You know, rewatching that sneak peak, that alternative timeline doesn't seem that much worse than the regular one. I mean, the deal in the comic was that it was pretty much a nightmare version of the DCU, but this, well, aside from the characters not being friends, maybe Barry not having speed, I don't see what's so nightmarish about it.

Supergirl and Superman don't exist on Earth-1, and, as far as we know, counterparts of the Arrow, Flash, and Legends characters do not exist on "Earth-S", so in order to 'merge' the two universes, we would have to see one of them destroyed and collapsed into the other... thus erasing everything that had been set up for nearly two months on whichever Earth ended up being destroyed.

Seems it will be more widespread than just Central City and Barry's immediate surroundings.

The producers also promised that Flashpoint “has its ripples throughout the whole universe,” with Todd Helbing noting that “Arrow” will see the most noticeable changes. “One of the effects is with Diggle himself.” As for what those are, “you’ll have to tune in to find out.”
