In order to pass the MASH test, a movie must have at least one scene where 2 Koreans are in the scene alone and talk about something other than Korea.
Isn't John Cho Korean? And the guy who plays Sulu's husband too? Does that count?

No, because Sulu is a Japanese character. The characters must be Korean themselves.Isn't John Cho Korean? And the guy who plays Sulu's husband too? Does that count?
The signal is designed to interfere with the signal used between swarm ships, and so they require something loud and disruptive. Makes sense in the film, but people will inevitably nitpick it on this forum.
And, according to the film, it IS classical music. The music of today will be to the late 22nd century what the music of Mozart is to us.
Sorry if I missed this but how was Spock Prime's death announced in the movie? Was it just someone making a comment about it? Also what kind of dedication was there for Yelchin? Just something like "In Memory of" during the closing credits?
If they're writing Chekov out of the next film, then I'd like to see Jaylah join the crew next time. Plus it'd give Uhura another female character to interact with.
Any mention of Spock's father Sarek? I was not really a fan of the casting but it would be nice to see the character again. Obviously in the Prime timeline he will be alive for another century. I would be shocked if killed him off for no reason. Considering his mother was already killed off.
What is it thatmakes Spock laugh?
Thanks! Is it true thatUhura's necklace is a plot point? I saw a reference to a "tracking device"...
That's not a spoiler. Neither is this.
Makes sense in the context of the film.
Had my second viewing today. They've removed All opening credits, tightened up the closing credits, and made a few small edits during the film. Still awesome, will watch again.
