New Movie Haters

I sometimes read articles where they will bash one or both of the new movies... well critics agree by a large majority they were good. Now critics are not ALWAYS right in my view, but in this case they are. Yes, it is different than older Trek, but does different make it bad? I appreciate the movies for what they are, and I think the new one will probably be good too. I just don't understand why some people hate on them so much. You want TRULY bad Star Trek? Go sit through the absolute disaster that was ST V, or I, or Insurrection, which I think are clearly the worst three films in the series. These movies are pretty well cast, they are exciting, and they put a new twist on Classic trek. It's just a shame we have to wait years between new installments.

No film, Trek or otherwise, is so bad that someone, somewhere will not enjoy it. And also the reverse.
