The prologue and epilogue of the story does feature Q visiting Picard in the Prime Universe.as for Ongoing we had an alt-future DS9 'crossover' (so not Prime - it was meant to be a possible JJFuture but they all wore the same heads")

I'm still a bit confused by "The Q Gambit" arc. Was Q under genuine threat from Pah-Wraiths, or was that all just a pocket dimension simulation Q created to screw with Abramsverse Kirk and Spock?
Also, the Q Continuum is under threat from some other species? Just.....how?Yeah, that didn't make sense to me. It seemed that Q brought the Enterprise into the future to save him from a threat that only existed in the alternate timeline he created by bringing the Enterprise into the future. Huh? So if he'd just left well enough alone, he wouldn't have been in danger anyway. On top of which, I'm not sure what Kirk and Spock achieved there that couldn't have been achieved by someone else.
Star Trek is a big universe there's so much they could do!
But will people buy them? I imagine sales is probably why we no longer see TNG comics.
^ Also, a couple of recent things notwithstanding, virtually all of those TOS stories generally tend to be heavily 5YM-focused, as opposed to other 23rd century sub-eras.

Even though TNG merchandise sells and The Wrath of Khan is the most popular movie the 5YM and the JJVerse are the big sellers of Trek; the novel range is the only series that seems to be the exception
^ Interesting. So...a chance for some TOS movie-era stories potentially, here, then? Cool.
Possibly -- although are the ENT rights in IDW's possession at the moment? I remember they were able to use Phlox's visage in that one TNG miniseries a couple years back, but I think they were otherwise locked out from other rights apart from that special dispensation. Could be misremembering this, however. If so, someone else here might be able to clarify it for us.Maybe all 5 series which means we could finally get an Enterprise comic? Also JJTrek, movie era and in the final issue New Series?
Except in The Light Fantastic and the novelverse in general Geordi isn't a captain...The first issue sounds like a sequel to the Light Fantastic by Jeffrey Lang.

Not a clue, it's weird if this is correct - why wouldn't they be allowed Enterprise bar Phlox?
