Spoilers STAR TREK BEYOND

Well, I guess this picture is in topic.. lol

Where is that replica from?

Star Trek Beyond falls into the category of a villain that crosses with the Enterprise & crew:
WOK, SFS, TFF, TUC, GEN, FC, INS, NEM, ST2009, STID, STB

Whereas both TMP and TVH are exploration due to an alien "probe" threatening Earth.
If and only if, we don't consider anyone in the 1980's an intentional villain. ;)

^ The woman on the far right behind Uhura is wearing a tan colored uniform. I think that's the first time we've seen that in the altverse, right? Could be a nice callback to the TMP color scheme.

Though within the context, it seems more like a variant of the gold uniform to me.

Note Spock trying to stop his guts from spilling out. :D

I saw the TV spot a couple of times over the weekend and was a bit disturbed by how yellow/blue the whole thing looked (as opposed to a natural range of colours). I hope I'm mistaken, and this look is restricted to the alien planet.

Isn't that about where his heart is?

Blue and yellow... I hope the film isn't a victim of the Tealization of Hollywood.

I actually like that ship's design and bridge better than the Abramsprise. Not for an Enterprise, mind you, just for another random ship.

Movies today tend to use a yellow color filter for desert/rocky scenes like the prison work camp quarry in Beyond. In fact, you can see this in action in an even more pronounced fashion in ST: Nemesis, which combined the bleached filter of post-apocalyptic films and the yellow filter of desert scenes for Picard's desert dune buggy ride.

In addition to that, like JWPlatt mentioned, the Orange and Teal color palette has come to dominate modern movies. Colors in the orange range encompass most human skin tones, and since a lot of what your eye is drawn to onscreen is human faces, they want to make them stand out as much as possible, hence the orange color filter. And if you look on a color chart, the most complimentary colors to Orange are colors in the teal range, so lots of movies come out looking heavily tinted orange and teal.

I think it's just these scenes.

It was mentioned in the behind the scenes footage from the fan event that there would be a gold coloured quarry and a blue planet.

Yes, nice to see TV spots appearing.

I saw them on SBS on Tuesday nights, two days ago.
