Did they have this problem with Moonboy? Did he ever have a book or was he just a reoccurring character? Has Moongirl and Devil Dinosaur not been cancelled?

Just read the last issue of Illuminauti. It was actually a pretty decent supervillain book. It was interesting to see Titania develop a bit as a character, and not just be used as a one dimensional strong woman to fight She-Hulk or other similar heroes. I wish it had lasted longer. Marvel could use a good "Secret Six type book", with villains not really being heroes, but being more than just bad guys. Illuminauti wasn't quite that book, but it had elements.

Moonboy was an ape creature from the past. Moon Girl is Tom Sawyer in the present, but female. :)

The psychological trauma of eating his best friend Moon Boy in the pages of (Warren Ellis') Nextwave, transformed Devil Dinosaur into a Supervillain... But I doubt that that continuity is going to be respected or adhered to. I think I saw Devil Dinosaur and Moon Boy in Wolverine and The X-Men a couple years ago during a visit to the Savage Land.

Moongirl, the comic is still running, it is adorable. Maybe it's good, maybe it's bad, but it's definitely odd. I do like it, but I'm taking my time getting around to reading each new issue. An unterrigenated preteen Inhuman with a Reed Richards level intellect is playing a shell game to avoid Terrigen clouds. She befriends a doinosaur, and tries to stop the cops from shooting it, because Dinosaur Lives Matter (sorry).

Marvel is on a diversity crusade, zapping characters ethnicity and gender, and for the most, it's been a series of changes for the good that probably will not last. Everything returns to zero eventually.

Last I saw, she had a MODOK head (without actually being MODOK or MODAM) in West Coast Avengers #30-something.

Satuture got Wasp like powers, after losing her powers at the beginning of the new Antman series. She's calling herself "Stinger".

We could be looking at another chapter to that whole Fantastic Four vs. Rama Tut thing, since...
Beast and Evan have gone to meet teen Apocalypse in 1900 BC under the Shadow of big honking Sphinx time machine.

I like that Cassie has become "Stinger" That's the name, and IIRC , the costume adult Cassie had in the MC2-verse.

Thank you, it seems obvious now that you pointed that out. :)

    The Illumanit was cancelled.

    It wasn't terrible?

Titania and Absorbing-Man is one of the great love affairs of the MCU, so it's nice to see some more meat on those bones.

Regardless, as soon as I saw that Illuminati bit the bullet, minutes ago, I did wonder about the safety of Moongirl and Devil Dinosaur. Google found solicitations for issue 8, and it was issue 6 (new) that I'd just finished reading.

    :)

    Her real-civilian name is "Lunella".

    "All" is explained.

I'm very behind on my reading, but I did manage to read Thunderbolts #1. I never read the original series so I have no way to judge it on the way things used to be, but I felt that this was a but lacklustre. The first half of the issue wasn't too bad, but the second half didn't seem as good to me. I'm not familiar with the writer but the writing felt a bit amateurish to me.

Does the art look as 90s as the original cover looked?

The art reminded me of when Herb Trimpe tried a new style in the 90s.

I haven't been following Captain America but I read the FCBD offering from Marvel. Why does Sharon Carter look so old? Am I missing something, or did the artist just botch it?

Steve Rogers and Sharon were stuck in a different dimension in Rick Remender's lame Cap run. Time moved differently there, so even though they weren't gone very long in the real world, they spent something like 25 years from their perspective in the dimension. Steve recently got deaged back to how he was, but Sharon is still old.

Thanks. I didn't realize that. I thought Steve had the Super Soldier Serum drained from his body and that's why he aged. I read Avengers Standoff so I saw how he was restored to his youthful state.

He actually had both. He aged at least a few years in Dimension Z, then he got drained of the formula. It was a bad year for Steve  Looking it up, I was wrong about some things (I didn't really read much of Remender's run). Steve and Sharon were apparently trapped at different times, and Sharon spent more time after Steve left the dimension, she she aged more than him. I'd estimate he spent like 4-5 years, compared to at least a decade if not more for Sharon, so I was way off on that. But, Steve got super old after the super soldier serum got neutrilized, until it got restored during the Pleasant Hill stuff.

Civil War II #0 was very disappointing. It was basically some folks standing around chatting idly and then one thing happens at the end. I still have no idea what the actual story is about, but I guess that's a good thing. The art was gorgeous, though!
