Yes, but some of us want to read what was said. hence why the Right Honourable member for the USA was asking if anybody had a link to the page

I'd like to see it too. When the post is found, I'm sure it will be linked to. Right now we don't have it and the one person who knows where it is isn't talking. And we have to respect his reasons.

Unless we get a telepath to read his mind, yes, I fear that to be the case

I don't have to respect anything.

*loiters*

I think it is pretty obvious from @Tom 's post that it is a Facebook post, most likely only readable for Facebook friends of McIntosh. No big secret there.

I can agree that much is for certain. That and the time it was posted. But I'm not friends with him and while I'd like to see it, if I don't ever see Terry's announcement of leaving Axanar, I certainly won't lose any sleep at night.

Same here, but it would be interesting to read what he said and see if there is any clue to the state of affairs at the Axanar High Command

Wow, the G&T guy really hates Axanar.
But it did make me think of one thing that I still find unbelieveable, and that is that people actually bought Alec Peter's bull shit about Axanar being the greatest Trek ever. Now, I will happyily admit that Prelude was pretty good, but I just watched STC's Lolani and that was way better. It's not even close to the level of the official "real" Trek like Wrath of Khan, Measure of a Man, or In the Pale Moonlight, but hey at least it was better than The Alternative Factor, or Spock's Brain, so I guess we at least have to give Alec that much.
The Axanar crew do know how to talk themselves up, but I think everything that is happening is proof that they are all talk with nothing to actually back it up.
Another thing that bugs me is the whole, Star Trek belongs to the fans thing. Nothing belongs to the fans, it belongs to the company who hires people to make it. Just because we watch something, and love something doesn't mean we own it.

So why would you demand a link, since you couldn't see it anyhow? And asking for screen-grabs of private posts sounds rather creepy/stalkerish ...

Well, no, you can't say that. Axanar hired people and paid them to make their films set in the Trek world. That's doesn't mean it belongs to them. No. It belongs to the person/company who created the original concept, or to whomever they sold the rights to at a later date.

I have already received a response from Alec Peters again claiming they are NOT a for-profit business. I am waiting to get further elaboration when their PR guy Mike Bawden gets back to me. If I hear nothing, then the article remains as is and will receive a followup treatment after the lawsuit is settled.

So you are taking the word without any confirmation from one guy in a lawsuit who has everything to gain by saying he is a not for profit business despite all of the facts to the contrary? Really? The 501(c) filing is public; please do your own research and you will find there is not nor has there ever been any application. Besides the FACT that the company is registered as a FOR PROFIT company. Not sure how you can spin it any other way but I am amused by your ignoring of easy to research facts. I will say this; you are entertaining!
