    In one of the showthreads someone said we should maybe have a thread where all the connected shows can be discussed in relation to each other, similarly to how there is a one for all MCU thread.
    So discussion here can include anything from Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Vixen and since recently Constantine and even Supergirl.
    There will be spoilers if you haven't followed all of those shows.
    At the same time this should help keep the single show threads more spoilerfree regarding the other shows.
    Unless Arrow shows up in a Flash or Legends episode, then it's ok to discuss that instance there, but broader discussions you can find here....

    So let's get this going.
    The latest crossover was hinted in the last Legends episode with a new Arrow of the future showingg up, couldn't tell if he was green, but it was definitely not Ollie.

    And he was glimpsed during the universe-jump in The Flash two episodes ago.

    Along with Supergirl (for whose show a dimension-hopping Flash crossover has been confirmed);
    Jonah Hex (who's been announced as appearing in a future episode of LoT);
    and a couple of other mouthwatering, imagination-firing future story possibilities:
    John Wesley Shipp's Flash and a Legion of Super-Heroes flight ring.

    That the black Green Arrow wasn't just a one-shot gag (nor was a glimpse of Killer Frost while Barry was time traveling last season) makes it quite likely that these are clues as to what may be coming up on the Arrowverse shows....

    Anyone else thing we need a better/less clunky name for this whole thing? Arrowverse was fine when The Flash was just a little spin-off who's success was still very up in the air, but now things have gotten a hell of a lot more complicated with the inclusion of LoT, Constantine & the upcoming Supergirl crossover.

    Since 'The Flash' especially seems to be embracing the multiverse concept, how about something simple like the DC TV Multiverse? Or DCM for short?

    'DC TV Multiverse' is too clunky and 'Arrowverse' seems to have caught on. 'DCM' works but will people know what it means and will it catch on?

    Arrowverse is way simpler and it's the name the production team actually uses for the shared setting.

    Arrowverse works for me (just as soon as I figure out how to get my autocorrect to accept it). It can also be considered a homage to DC in general considering DC itself stands for Detective Comics.

    Can't you just disable autocorrect? It always seems to be more trouble than it's worth.

    The only predecessor for this was the DC Animated Universe which sprung from Batman : The Animated Series. Shorted to DCAU. How about DC Live Action Universe? Or DCW Universe? Meaning DC and the CW. The CW is where most of these shows air and certainly where it started with Arrow.

    Actually I just thought of that but I really like DCW Universe.

    You're not the first one to think of the DCW. I always thought it was pretty obvious, I don't know why it didn't catch on. Yet.

    Ok, good to know. As with most things, the more we use it the more it will catch on. That is all I am using from know on.

    What about DCTU? DC television universe as opposed to the DCMU, DC Movie Universe? It's simple and sweet.

    "Arrowverse" = three syllables, specific, rolls off the tongue. What more do we all need?

    Well, not the only one. The movie continuity that began with Man of Steel is officially known as the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), apparently. And of course there's the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

    But "Arrowverse" is apparently the preferred label, and it's what the reference sources call it. So the decision's been made already.
