According to Crusher, they exist but don't occur very often which doesn't actually make sense. Why would headaches be less frequent in the future?

Did they put something in the water supply?

A headache is unexplainable pain.

If there's a pain in your head by that point, they can quickly diagnose the preprepreprecancer you have and then give you a pill to get rid of the preprepreprecancer you seem to be developing a case of.

Because the TNG future is a paradise where nobody ever has any problems that would cause a tension headache, and Beverly Crusher can cure cancer in 20 seconds and act bored about it. So if she can do that, a headache would be even simpler to fix.

Yeah, it may very well be something in the water supply.

Fluoride. It's always fluoride.

If we subvert Trek and view it from an extremely dystopian angle then it might be the case that they're all drugged to buggery. Flying about the Galaxy - off their tits - telling aliens that they need to better themselves and be more evolved.

Everyone's just high on Soma.

About Admiral Paris, what if good ol' Owen was into it BEFORE Tom Paris fucked up things. For all we know, he actually gave Janeway the idea to take him along...

^The way Tom talked about his Dad the first couple seasons especially the fake Admiral Paris we saw on Persistence of Vision, you would think so

It's 2364, and Owen Paris is delivered a letter his son won't write him for another 7 years.

What if Owen didn't know that Tom was a Black Sheep that needed a kicking until Future Tom asked forgiveness for being a Maquis, before Owen knew what a Maquis was?

And really what's more important?

Saving Tom from his downfall, or derailing the boy's redemption?

Per Relativity, it would appear that it was Janeway's idea from the get go. If it came from Paris Senior, why would Janeway need to present it to Admiral Patterson for his consideration? It seems unlikely that two admirals would require an intermediary to broach such a matter and come to a decision on it.

Because it is entirely criminal to abuse future information.

They needed a conspiracy to subvert whatever guilty dreams were coming to #### over their peace of mind.

Hmmm....what a quandary. Also throw in the fact that he seems to be perfectly happy with his Maquis girlfriend. If Own prevents that future would they ever meet?

We would also have to consider that Janeway was his protégé. Would he want to spare her all that?

I see a future fanfic.

Admiral Paris seemed like a man who didn't know his arse from his elbow. I doubt he was in the loop.

What about Barclay? Maybe in "Projections" the doctor was deliberately designed to collect Deltra quadrant information. The holographic Barclay triggered him to begin his mission in that episoide .

I'm seeing conspiracies everywhere.

True. They may have deliberately kept Owen Paris out of it depending on who saw it first of course.

That would explain a lot about the Doctor.

Do you consider Renegades canon?

(Obviously it isn't, but if the Bermanverse has been abandoned, it's not canon either maybe. If they're both almost equally the same sort of non canon, then the two universes should interlock a little?)

**Cough**.

Oh, oh, oh. What if the Federation did that treaty with the Cardies to ensure the existence of the Maquis.....

So Jellico was in on the conspiracy?

No wonder he needed Data as his XO, if Eddie needed someone that could act suicidal in the face of oncoming prophecy, and keep a secret.
