Star Trek: Intrepid resumes production

We've now had over ten thousand views of Transposition. Thanks again to everyone who has watched, or have taken the time to offer feedback. I know people often say they make these things for themselves, and because they enjoy it. Well we do. But we also do it because there are stories we want to tell and we want to share them, and while none of us are ever going to win any awards, there's nothing more satisfying than having someone view your work and want to talk about it.

My thanks to you all. :)

I love it. I've been a big fan of how you guys have tried to keep as much of a TNG feeling to your films as you have. It'd be easy to just go post-FC the whole way, but these little bits are much appreciated by me. Looking forward to the film when it's done!

So we're currently chipping away at finishing the vignette, Nemo Me Impune Lacessit. Here's a little peek at a work in progress FX Leo Tierney is working on at the moment. Click on the image to get a better look.

Nice.

You guys inside look a tad small for the vehicle, tho. Is this the Hummer of shuttlepods?
Hadn't really noticed myself, but I think Leo's still tweaking.

Maybe it's a Hum-Pod. :)

That's a really beautiful shuttlepod. Looks like the asteroid field has evolved a lot since "Where There's A Sea"!

Thanks, we try. And comments like that mean a lot. :)

It has indeed. All credit to Leo for the work on that. And for the shuttlepod name. :)
My guess is the shot was positioned like that because if you had it the correct size the guy to the left would be out of shot.
I honestly don't know but that sounds reasonable to me. :)

Just finished The Stone Unturned. Fantastic! Subtle writing and characterizations, performed and produced well, and I dearly love the sweaty yelling madman archetype from TOS so seeing that here made me laugh, a lot. :guffaw:

I'll enjoy watching this again with my friends. Thanks!

Is "Transposition" listed on the website anywhere? I was looking for it on starshipintrepid.net the other day and came up empty. Hope I didn't just miss it.

Thanks Mudd, glad you enjoyed it. And thanks for taking the time to watch and let us know. :)

And thanks Maurice for your Google-fu. We really need to update and upgrade our website. Might be time to hire someone to do it.

While I'm posting, we just received the final FX work for Leo this week, for Nemo, then promptly decided we could do with another two shots.

We're pretty much done though, and I've shared the current cut with the composer so he can start preliminary work on the score. I'm hopeful we can have this done and dusted by Spring.

In case anyone is at all interested, the director just signed off on the final cut of our next short, which is coming in at about 10 minutes. We're just waiting on scoring and sound work, which hopefully won't take too many more weeks. Nearing the finish line now.
