Thanks guys, glad you liked it.

I don't know why that is, but I'm glad the Vimeo download works for you. I think you mean accents rather than dialect though, while there may be people over here who use local dialect, I don't write dialogue in anything but standard English. At least not for Star Trek.Very good.
I do recommend downloading from Vimeo and watching the download if your ear for the local dialect is as weak as mine. I understood every word when I listened to the downloaded version.

High praise indeed! Thank you so much.Just watched, liked it a lot, made me think
I like to think he would. Sorry about the tag! I don't usually bother, but we cut that scene from the main thing and it just seemed to fit there.Nicely done, Nick and crew. I think Gordon would have been proud of you all.
And I don't believe I had to go back and see what happened at the end of the credits. Marvel movies in recent times always have me the last out of the cinema to see what happens after their credits roll!![]()
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who took the time to watch. I'm both happy and surprised everyone seems to be enjoying it so far.![]()
Thanks again, Bill. For the record, we are proud of everything we've produced so far, but we're also aware that our work isn't perfect.Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who took the time to watch. I'm both happy and surprised everyone seems to be enjoying it so far.![]()

The only Star Trek Fan Film featuring MY accent is George Kayaian's. And to be fair, I sometimes have a hard time making out what they are saying, too. Sound quality is really what's key. (So now you know what I sound like.)Talking of accents and dialects, I should probably add, that while I always write in standard English, actors will occasionally get the lines wrong, and it is possible that bits of local dialect might sneak through.![]()
Apparently Shatner is still Canadian, BTW.
As of this moment, 426 You Tube views, 19 Vimeo views. No information on Vimeo downloads.
Concerning Shatner, he was reportedly offered the incredible honor of being named the Governor General of Canada and TURNED IT DOWN. I was left wondering if he had secretly gotten dual citizenship or something. Perhaps the reports were false, but frankly, knowing now that he is still SOLEY Canadian, I found his behavior bizarre. I guess he could be an anti-royalist. (I use that term, and not the term I sometimes see for the anti-royals as 'republicans' because Shatner got so upset when Ted Cruz declared that Captain Kirk was a Republican. (Not the same kind of republican, of course, but still...) Shatner's tweet, that Kirk was in the future and he [Shatner] couldn't even vote in the US, didn't actually make sense to me, although I didn't think of Kirk as a Republican even when I was one.
We've also had, as of right now, 2020 views on the Facebook upload, which is a revelation to me.
