The Walking Dead Season 6 Discussion

They should've dragged Glenn's escape to after the hiatus to really get everyone's panties in a bunch.

Wolf Boy had the best house of all you could walk right in and leave without any zombie interference apparently. Of course, now we'll have to see how that all plays out with Carol and Morgan.

Sad to see Deanna go.... she died well, and was able to leave some good parting words. She's been through a lot in a short period of time.

Can she run for president in 2016?

And regarding Walkers in the Alexandria area.... Despite the population...If many people are there for the Federal government, they may have left to where most of their family actually is. ALso, there's a huge military presence, so many walkers would have been killed in the area, not to mention how many people would have been completely eaten.

I find Jessie's son Sam quite irritating. I don't mind if he becomes zombie chow. Sad to see Deana go. I liked her. I hope Morgan realizes that killing bad people, who does very bad things to others for twisted reasons, is not a bad thing. I hope Gabriel last longer. He is a good foil for Rick.

I hope that the remaining ASZ people outside Alexandria like Abraham, Daryl and Sasha find the Wolves base and lure the massive zombie herd to it.

Now Spencer can join Abraham, Michonne, Daryl, Maggie, Sasha, Glenn, Enid, Tara, Morgan and Carol in the I'm The Last of My Family Club.

Since the doctor was kidnapped, I wonder if her fate will lead to two possible outcomes:

1. With Rick's gang in walker camouflage, will wolf boy not notice their approach (because they're not stirring up the zombies), and be able to walk over and kill him?

2. will wolf boy make it out of ASZ, leading Tara to go on what will be a suicide mission?

Dammit, this needed to be a longer episode. The stuff I wanted to see happen won't be happening til next time, y'know? Also:

I don't understand, if Tara and Rosita can shoot moving targets in the head while running why couldn't they pop a round to wolf guy who was just standing there?

Ummm... You need more careful aim in order to hit your target without hitting his hostage? You're firing at a living person who also has a weapon and a hostage and he could be faster than you and take out his hostage.

Fighting people and fighting walkers are very different things.

Well, they needed to up the numbers of cliffhangers, only this one centered on a character the audience does not know or care much about. Further, we were supposed to believe Tara was as concerned about the doc as she would with people she really knows well (notice how she was positioned front and center during the hostage scene to sell that).

Wtf was that? After such a lacklustre half season I was at least hoping for something decent in the midseason finale (which usually deliver the goods) but this was just, as usual, nothing.
I was right that it did follow the events of #83, but cut off the part that actually made it so memorable. And now what, that's just gonna be held over for another three months? And in a mid-season opener? So it's gonna have nowhere near as much impact.
I'm giving up on the show now, it seriously sucks. I think I'll wait till all of s6B has finished and then watch it all in one day sometime, but I'm not faffing about waiting between episodes anymore to find out what happens, when literally nothing ever does. That whole Glenn thing has to be one of the worst, cheapest and lame "cliffhangers" I've ever seen, and they've tried to redeem themselves with this guff and yet another huge cop out? Nah, not for me.

So you've given up on it, it's not for you but you're going to watch it.

 Oh, the drama.

Yep, irony. Carol instigated the situation that lead to his escape.

If Morgan hadn't tried to keep and rehabilitate the guy instead of just killing him - like Carol wanted - there would have been no situation to instigate, so 'The egg came first.'"

And yet, it was Carol barging in that created the opportunity to escape.

The person that wanted to kill him outright so he couldn't cause trouble ended up giving him the chance to cause trouble. Irony.

Never would have been an option for the guy to escape if Morgan and his lame as hell "every life matters" outlook hadn't been keeping him around.

That Wolf guy is exactly the kind of guy you kill right away in a zombie apocalypse.

Doesn't change the irony of the outcome.

He was always going to make an escape attempt, Carol or no Carol. What really allowed him to get away was Morgan stopping Carol on her righteous mission.

Man, people in comment sections sure can get overdramatic at times. This may not have been one of the best finales they've ever done, but it was still a really solid and gripping episode I thought.

Yeah he is irritating, but it also makes sense that there would be kids in Alexandria that would be completely traumatized like this after being so sheltered all their life. And just in general, there's always going to be survivors who are annoying and/or unpleasant, which to me just makes the world feel a bit more real.

It's always strange to me how many fans just immediately want to kill every character who gets the least bit annoying or unlikable (Morgan, Andrea, etc), or who make decisions they don't like or agree with.

Buddy was going to escape one way or another thanks to Morgan.

You keep diggin' in though. :techman:

Buddy was going to escape one way or another thanks to Morgan.

And you know this how?

Nothing to "dig in". The observation was that if Carol hadn't barged in the prisoner wouldn't have had a situation to exploit to make an escape. All evidence seen onscreen.

It's the people bending in contortions to deny it that are "digging in".

Because the Wolf literally told Morgan he was going to kill him and everyone else in the town about 2 or 3 episodes ago when it was first revealed that Morgan was holding him prisoner.

So Morgan knowingly creates a situation with a character he knows will try to escape. Blaming it on Carol is just flat out wrong. As long as Morgan keeps this guy alive there's a chance the Wolf will exploit any situation that arises.

It's the people bending in contortions to deny it that are "digging in".
 Ok. Everyone totally believes you.
