Ditto. I'm not much of a TV watcher, and actually have never seen any of the other shows that made the Top 10 Worst. Therefore, I don't have even the bad stuff with which to compare TATV. So, the utter crap that I saw truly made an impression as the WORST TV I've ever seen.
Also, when I got into Enterprise a few years ago, I binge watched. Which means , I didn't have a week or two to get over Demons/Terra Prime. I watched TATV immediately after those two. The shortcomings and plotholes were GLARING. Then I made the mistake of watching TNG episode ("Pegasus " was it?) that it was based on, and my head just hurt .,,hurt so so bad.
I didn't understand why it was set during TNG at all. Why couldn't it have been set on the Enterprise-E if it really had to take place in the 24th century? Frakes and Sirtis had clearly aged and the narrative of this episode didn't fit with The Pegasus episode either.
Nobody had an nostalgia for the Enterprise-E. Nemesis and Insurrection sucked and the more recent of the two was less than three years old.
I'd be shocked if Riker and Troi of all TNG characters were the ones fans were clamoring to see again, but whatever. Patrick Stewart clearly had better things to do and we heard Data's voice for like five seconds. Good enough, right?
I always wondered why B&B chose "Pegasus" for the episode they wanted to flashback to. Berman was the producer for the episode sure, by RDM is credited as the only writer. It wasn't a Moore and Braga joint episode. It's like B&B leeched on to a popular episode and wanted to put their own spin on it.
Setting TATV post Nemesis would've been easier and made more sense. Just set it on board the USS Titan.

Haven't seen any of the other finales on the list. However, I have seen my share of badly written deaths. A notable one is Marian from BBC's Robin Hood (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Robin_Hood_(2006_TV_series)_episodes#Series_2_.282007.29)
Like Trip, she died through making a dumb move when she was previously portrayed as clever. Was I mad at the time? Yes. But I got over it. I'm still not sure why. Maybe it was because the episode was meant to end the season instead of the series. Trip was hardly the first person to be killed off through character assassination and won't be the last. But I'm pretty sure nothing will ever make my blood boil like TATV.

The most ironic thing about TATV is that it had been described as a 'special valentine' to all the fans. To me it was like getting a great box of chocolates and finding out it was filled with turds instead.

"These Are The Voyages" would have been a mediocre mid-season episode, since it is entertaining enough, but full of annoying and outrageous things. However, as the final episode it is horrendous, and in light of the preceding two part episode's sheer quality it is also insulting.
The only good part of the episode is the voice over of as all the Enterprises fly by, with each captain speaking a part of the old intro. Save that, tack it on the end of something else, and burn "These Are The Voyages."

It doesn't surprise me TATV is on the list.
Having watched the Blu Ray docs, I realize that over half the season had been written/shot, so there may not have been enough time to construct a finale as meaningful as AGT, WYLB, or Endgame. However, it was also widely discussed in the docs that a fourth season at all was an uncertainty. Given that, Manny Coto should have had SOMETHING of substance in his back pocket just in case he needed to close up the series quickly (which is what they ended up having to do). Given all of the wonderful mini-arcs of Season Four, I was surprised at the utter mediocrity of TATV.

He did, it was called Demons/Terra Prime and it was awesome. TaTV was what the Beebs had in their back pockets in case the series needed a quick close.
Only saw two of the finales on the list, Enterprise's being one of them and True Blood's being the other. With True Blood, however, I knew the finale was going to suck. The entire last season was complete and utter shit. I don't understand how such a fun and campy show suddenly took such a horrible turn. With Enterprise, the episodes preceding the finale were awesome. I didn't even know what to say after I watched TATV. I was utterly speechless at the time because I couldn't believe what I was watching. How could they miss the mark so completely?! Who the hell thought that premise would make a good finale?
The biggest problem, I believe, was that Rick Berman and Brannon Braga at that point in time didn't even care about Enterprise any more. TATV was their "goodbye" to the entire franchise.
They were both as good as gone, moving on to other things, and were obviously out of touch. Their hearts weren't in it and it showed, which is almost tragic in a way, because from season 3 onward Enterprise was Manny Coto's baby, and I believe he should have been allowed to put the finishing touches.
Demons and Terra Prime were, to most of us, the true finale, but to be completely honest, that two-parter did not give me a sense of closure... And the only feel TATV gave me really was, "ok, lets get this shit over with, pack up and go home."
