[Reddit / IMDB] TATV is the 5th worst finale of any TV show ever

Why is the Scrubs finale on there? That was an excellent episode. Unless they're referring to whatever happened in season nine after everyone left?

And TATV deserves this Hall of Shame moniker, it was a true disappointment in all ways. I'm also glad to see Dexter made the cut, as that was another shocking one.

I loved the show itself, but Enterprise's finale is very disappointing.

It does manage to wrap up the story line and provide an explanation as to how the journey ends, but it was

1) too short

2) Written in past tense. It was done from the perspective of 24th century officers. I feel the episode could have done without the 24th century segments.

That said, the final montage of the three enterprise ships... That was probably the best sequence in Star Trek to date.

The ten worst rated ever are:

  1. Two and a Half Men (4.6)
  2. Dragon Ball Z (4.7)
  3. Dexter (4.8)
  4. True Blood (5.1)
  5. ST Enterprise (5.4)
  6. How I Met Your Mother (5.7)
  7. Baywatch (6.4)
  8. The L Word (6.6)
  9. Scrubs (6.7)
  10. Misfits (6.8)

I was expecting Batllestar Galactica's finale -"Daybreak" to be high on this list, but to my shock, it's score is as high as 8.9. I hated that finale for more reasons than I can count... I guess I'm in a minority here.

The only three finales and series I watched on that list were Enterprise, Dexter and True Blood.

Of the shows I actually have watched however, I would add Sopranos, Rosanne, Seinfeld, Xfiles, Stargate Universe, Hannibal, and BSG. And sadly all of the ones I mentioned were actually pretty awesome shows at their height.

It seems like a lot of these episodes on the list represent average episodes of series that started well but declined to mediocrity. Shows that started mediocre and stayed there tend to be forgotten.

I'm surprised Lost isn't on there, given how controversial it was.
Also, I found the finale of House disappointing; a feeble middle-aged Easy Rider fantasy, with the sociopathic main character suddenly and uncharacteristically dumping his career for his friend.
