Alec Peters is one of the most thin-skinned people I've encountered, and this in a scene where thin-skinned seems to be de rigueur.
In any case, for those interested, Peters and Burnett comment on the Wrap article and the accusations that they're running a "pyramid scheme" with the funding in their latest Podcast: http://www.axanarproductions.com/axanar-podcast-31-the-jew-and-the-gentile/
And, apparently, some media outlets aren’t happy about it.

They really are full of themselves.

This is what is getting tiresome. They get very defensive when anyone says anything that isn't pro-Axanar. How about spending less time on podcasts and more time on making the movie?

My advice to them is to just weather the comments, respond rationally and try to leave emotion off the table. Well, that's my advice for any production, fan or otherwise.

Which is what Terry I think did most excellently, until he got chased away by some of the people of this board.
(sorry for not using multiquote)

BURNETT:
The movies are now... there's a deal, I don't know if theres... I leep hearing about this "non-compete" clause that I know they've signed Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine to a fourth movie, so they're saying "well there can't be" but that doesn't make any sense to me because there was Star Trek on television and there were feature films made from 1994 through when Nemesis came out."

Boy, you really do have an axe to grind with this production. We get it!![]()
Let me know when it's against the rules to share my opinion of your most holy and sacred of cows.
How about spending less time on podcasts and more time on making the movie?
Of course if they did this, the line would be: "Man, those Axanar guys are full of themselves. They can't even be bothered to communicate with their donors. How hard would it be to set up a regular podcast?"![]()
