Anyone worried about the upcoming Deep Freeze??

Truth be told, we're *still* in an ice age since there's a presence of permanent ice at our poles. We're in a "warmer" period of this ice age but we're still coming out of one.

I'm more worried about an EMP event partially or fully crashing the U.S.'s power grid.

But if that doesn't happen then you can start your new life in Seattle as an escaped genetically engineered former child soldier and current bike messenger with feline DNA who doesn't like to play by the rules.

I liked re first season of that show, but I fell out before the second started.

Our power grid is out dated and over loaded. Even a small emp event could potentially crash most all of the system. Be it man made or naturally occurring.

The second season was pretty bad. It turned from humans with a bit of animal DNA mixed in to full on dog people and lizard people.

Ugh. Island of doctor MaNo!

I'm kind of hoping the radiation turns me into a pony.

The only radiation we have to worry about right now it the crap still leaking from The Fukushima nuclear power plant into the Pacific Killing of plant and animal life and slowly contaminating the pacific coast.

Nah, we're already experiencing peak levels of cesium-137 here in the U.S., and that number will start falling very soon.

I'm kind of hoping the radiation turns me into a pony.

What would your cutie mark be, though?

A compass with a heart in it.

I live in Florida. I welcome any down turn in temperature. Sadly, this will not happen.

I feel the same living in California. What annoys me is the 15 year wait. I don't want to wait til I'm 60 to cool off, bring it on now!

Yes! To all those in the South who say Californians don't know high temperatures because we only have dry heat...guess again. We've had 98 F and pouring rain lately. El Nino, come on along!

Nice! And what would that signify?
That my heart leads me everywhere I go. I actually made my little pony a few years ago, and that was his cutie mark:

Rain?? I don't remember any rain, much less pouring rain.

Can you Fresno guys send some of that up to Sacramento??

Please tell me the EMP event won't cause electrical super-storms and necessitate a team of plucky scientists to drive an improbable vehicle to the Earth's core.
