No one has a fluffing clue.Completely unrelated to the theory OP posted, but is anyone else familiar with the other "upcoming ice age" theory? In a nutshell, this one says that due to global warming, the ice caps are starting to melt, which affects the salinity of the water, which causes the Gulf Stream to shut down, cooling Europe, and effectively sending us into a new ice age. The last estimate I saw for that happening was ~300 years or so. Anyone have any more recent updates or rebuttals to that one?
