Anyone worried about the upcoming Deep Freeze??

Completely unrelated to the theory OP posted, but is anyone else familiar with the other "upcoming ice age" theory? In a nutshell, this one says that due to global warming, the ice caps are starting to melt, which affects the salinity of the water, which causes the Gulf Stream to shut down, cooling Europe, and effectively sending us into a new ice age. The last estimate I saw for that happening was ~300 years or so. Anyone have any more recent updates or rebuttals to that one?
No one has a fluffing clue.

This is what makes climate change so scary.

Modelling fluid flows is incredibly difficult compared to many other phenomenons in physics.

Making things worst is the complex interaction with the air, liquid, ice, and land masses.

Unlike most processes in physics you don't automatically get a finer view of the model as you zoom in.

Increase detail in your model by 100x and your trend may become more true, zoom in by 1000x and the total opposite trend may be predicted.

The only thing we know for certain is that our atmosphere that is typical somewhat stable has been destabilized.
