Is it me or does 12 have 4's hair and in one scene 2's pants?

Incorrect. I see two daleks. The foreground one that is Time War/modern, and the old style one in the background.

An odd thought. What if the newer Dalek was one we'd seen before. Going back in time, either to help the Daleks (Caan), or to destroy the Daleks (Rusty)? Would Rusty try to go back in time to kill Davros?

Based on the trailer, it looks like next season will be "darker" and more "out there" in terms of scifi stories.

Thje trailer is interesting, but it doesn't say a lot about Series 9. Even last season had a minute and a half of cool footage for a trailer, but I still found it lackluster. Hopefully Season 9 will be a big improvement.

Was that Zygon Osgood? If so, bummer, I was hoping that was the Osgood that got killed, and we'd get the real one back.

Maybe Maisie is a new incarnation of Jenny (The one from the Doctor's daughter, not the gay Paternoster gang member)? "Old man" after all is often used as a synonym for a father.

Rusty killing Davros would be one hell of a grandfather paradox.

It would be the most sure way to kill the Daleks. He'd also fail, because the Doctor saves people.

Or Missy and Clara are messing around. The Master have every reason to want to destroy the Daleks now.

Also some of those corridors resemble the Dalek eyestalk set from Into The Dalek. Probably just reused though.

Something else I noticed in the trailer, they sure are getting their mileage out of that damn Satan Pit spacesuit.

I noticed Capaldi is a lot more expressive in the trailer. He shrugs. He's happy. He's a cool rockstar. He's stunned. He's grinning like a cheshire cat. He simultaneously looks disappointed and is grieving. I like it!
