Of the panels I've seen trotted out as "evidence" Bobby's secret was there all along I see ways to spin it another way.
This is a PR stunt. A PC move. It's very old at this point but it it's done and it's comics so it can easily be undone. I've known a few gay women, who then fell in love with the man of their dreams and suddenly they weren't gay. So is it a choice or are you born that way. I know it's an anecdotal example but if I know a few who it seemingly was a choice for then those screaming it's not, for all, fall on deaf ears.

i thought it was poorly handled. never mind that it makes no sense for past Bobby to be gay when current Bobby isn't. he didn't so much come out as he was outed by Jean. Jean who is supposed to be his friend and reads his mind because she's nosy?

So what you're saying is that women frequently tell you they're gay, and then as soon as you leave them alone, they go back to telling other men they're straight again, but you've convinced yourself that the only possible explanation is that they've spontaneously changed sexual orientation.

Wasn't into X-Men, was more of a JLI fan. Remember drooling over Kevin MaGuire and Adam Hughes' ability to draw the female anatomy.

I read the first issue. Wasn't too impressed. But will probably pick up the first TPB at some point.
Basically false advertising. Instead of brand new future Justice League: Giffen and DeMatteis are turning it into a backdoor for the shitty post-Crisis bwahaha league. Fine waste of Howard Porter on art too. Book needs to be cancelled just for the fact they are wasting Porter there.

Xavier because he knows best, was muffling Jean Grey's Superpowers. And there was that entire Will and Testament thing where he castrated a Mutant because he was too powerful... But the here and now present day X-Men told Jean that Xavier had been suppressing her telepathy obviously, since it had just weirdly activated years earlier than it should have as soon as Charlie was out of the picture...
Was Charles Xavier routinely straightening out Bobby Drake because he didn't want to deal politically with a gay mutant at that point in his mutant rights movement?
Was Bobby the only suppressed gay mutant by Chuck's firm hand?

I'm thinking that his lower body temperature could make him an unenjoyable bedmate for either gender. Well, there wasn't a misguided commentary on homosexuality before, so I didn't really feel the need. Nor did I realize I have to run it by you first since you're the hall monitor of this thread, apparently. But nice priorities you have in what you choose to defend from (mild) criticism.
It's his opinion. Last I looked other than flaming/trolling/spamming, you still don't have mod powers to patrol that despite your desire otherwise. 
I'm sure that is little consolation to people who actually want to read about the new 3000 League and not be inundated by a bunch of promotions to past teams best left forgotten or to tie-into potential network shows that haven't even debuted.

That's probably why I didn't in any way frame it as a mod action (I'm not even a mod in this forum, just another poster), and only expressed my own opinion, which last I looked by your own remarks is still allowed.
