What are you up to this weekend?

What I'm up to should be apparent considering my last thread here (squeee!)

But I also plan on visiting my mum on a camp-site by the beach, where she has her newly acquired caravan put up for the season... I even have a caravan-warming gift all ready to go and wrapped up nicely (bunch of lanterns like the ones behind me in the image in that other thread).

On Saturday, doing chores, buying a bike for my wife, and looking for an indoor/outdoor carpet for the deck. On Sunday, we'll be taking the bus downtown so we can enjoy a drink or seven without having to worry about anything. I've had a few hints dropped at my feet so I think we'll be having 'lupper' (lunch/supper), here: http://www.casadomenico.com/

I have several of my old college friends coming into town tomorrow, so I took the weekend off work and we're going to a baseball game.

Celebrating my birthday with some friends and my girlfriend. We're going to the usual place for dinner.

My birthday's actually today, bu we're having the dinner Saturday due to everybody's various work schedules, and other business.

On Sunday, the girlfriend and I plan to curl up in our recliner and watch Interstellar for the first time.

I am adding a new shelf in my library for future ST paperbacks, a new shelf in by collection room for future Official Starship Collection ships, hanging 2 posters of Firefly's 'Verse (same poster, 2-sided, so I bought two to display) in my living room, and hanging the wife's large poster of DC's female characters in the bedroom.

Oh, and donating platelets.

I have a bad cold - I am planning to spend the weekend in bed either sleeping, watching videos or mucking about on my iPad.

I was supposed to be going to an art museum and after looking at lots of art drinking beer next door to the art but as it is pouring and has decided to be winter this may not happen.

Celebrated my former husband's 70th birthday yesterday. Two art museums, a park, a quick tour of the mosaic studio where I volunteer, and dinner.
