Yesterday: Shopping, haircut, watching A Man for all Seasons and reading. Today: cooking for a friend's birthday (90 years old!) breakfast party, choir rehearsal/church, coffee and a book, Firefly.

Going to the pub tonight for some dinner, drinks, and to watch a couple of ballgames on the screens - Blue Jays at Rays and Mets at Yankees.
It's supposed to be cold and wet tomorrow, so we may take in a movie.

Today is the 100th anniversary of the landing of the ANZACS at Gallipoli I am going to be busy with honouring Australia's soldiers. apart from watching various memorial services on TV I will also be attending Hobart's ANZAC parade.
Today, just did the weekly shopping and went out to dinner. That's pretty much it.
Might have to take the mother in law out tomorrow. Bleh.

Didn't go to a movie yeaterday. It ended up being nice out so we went and visited a bunch of garden centers.
I'm looking out the window at all the snow that fell since Friday.
I should really get busy and finish my NaNoWriMo stuff. Just 2000 more words to go.

Not much. I wish I were, but friends are either out of town and doing something else or they're too busy to hook up, so I'm just catching up on a few things I needed or wanted to do.

I know the feeling. I'm cleaner and tidier than most guys I know but yeah, there are some weekends where you probably should take the time to do some cleaning up.
Three day weekend this time and, BOY am I exited about seeing him again!
And I won't even waste a second of it thinking about the seven weeks til I can see him next... fracking summer vacations!

Headed to the movies on Saturday for Avengers, and then heading up to Austin late Sunday (hubby is staying home) to look after my mom for about a week.
Plans are still up in the air, but I might be hooking up with some friends to hang out and get a bite to eat. I also want to check out the big area flea market, take a look around and see if there's anything cool I might like to pick up.
We're having a provincial election on Tuesday, so I will likely be spending a lot of online time this weekend on CBC.ca, following various discussions. But by this time tomorrow it will be a spectator thing for me, since I will be voting by special ballot later today.
