I thought it was strawberry jam.
Cons:
--He doesn't become Dardevil until THE LAST TEN MINUTES???
--He doesn't get the awesome looking costume until THE LAST TEN MINUTES???
--The black costume was... bad.
--The Kingpin never wears a white suit ONCE???
--Was it just me or did they repeat the same couple of canned scores every single time?
--The entire thing just looked cheap to me. Like they had no money.
--They never showed what his radar sense looks like.
--The episodes just felt unnecessarily slow and drawn-out. I think that's an artifact from being on Netflix with these 55 minute running times. There's no lines they have to color within.
--Somebody's been watching Arrow too much. Everyone, especially Kingpin, are constantly talking about "this city" and what it needs and deserves and how they're going to save it. Waaaaaaaay too overused.
--Stick only appears in a single episode? He only fights a single Hand ninja, and they never even get name dropped? The Hand brings in some mysterious potentially powered kid who promptly gets killed before we see him do anything?
--After making such a big deal of placing this in the MCU, they certainly pretended it wasn't aside from a fleeting mention to the Chitauri invasion of NYC and a couple Avengers jokes.
And more NY shooting too, just felt it was Any Old Place USA for the most part.
Also quick question, the last part of This Trailer has Wesley making a jokey reference to Iron Man and Thor. Was that actually in an episode? I must have missed that part if so
Ben Urich said that she already did porn. He didn't use the actual words "you did porn" but he knew that she did something embarrassing that she was ashamed of in her past, which "might" not have been porn at all.
I thought True Blood was porn?
I thought True Blood was porn?
Don't insult porn.I thought True Blood was porn?
Actually, that was blood. But they had to change it. 80s censorship, y'know.
Her comment about her homeland being considerably farther than China... Anyone else understood that as extraterrestrial? I found it odd that she claimed to speak all languages, too. I would be really surprised if she turns out no more than a human criminal mastermind.
Finished!
I saw her use Tai Chi to lay out Daredevil. Not to mention that crack about knowing all languages. And the Word "Dragon" exploded in my head. Makluan dragons from Iron Man came to mind first, which is a distraction, since the TV show is not going to Connect to the movies so directly... Iron Fist gets his power from hugging it out with a dragon, and Iron Fist is all about focussing his Chi, and Tai Chi is about Chi... Although that remark as she ditched New York, that her home was much further away than China could have been a reference to K'un-lun... They also said that her heroin was too pure. Space Heroin? That's L Ron Hubbard which completely opens a different can of worms.
Definitely an alien, possibly a dragon?
