How long is the extended version?
Not sure. That's just how it's labeled on the DVD.
I haven't compared it against the other version.
I believe the original, uncut version of "The Cage" ran 63 minutes before later TV syndication edits chopped the pilot down a bit, so perhaps that's the official running time of the "extended version" or something close to it.
I think the "extended version" refers to the color/B&W version with introduction by Gene Roddenberry.

The version of "The Cage" that I have, runs 63 minutes. So I guess I already have the extended/uncut version.
I am sorry to say that but "Plato's Stepchildren" is the most awful TOS episode that I have ever seen, it even beats "Spock's Brain", IMO.
