What are you watching???

Season 2 of Buffy. I forgot how awesome (and disturbing) it is.

Next time you feel like rewatching Buffy in full, please consider giving Lost Girl a go. It's exactly the same as Buffy but with adults who aren't afraid of sex.

Or you could investigate Todd and the Book of Pure Evil which is exactly the same as Buffy except it's about a stoner simpleton who is only fighting evil to impress a girl.

The same but different. :)

I've heard Lost Girl is pretty bad. I've looked into it and not something that interests me. I am kind of watching Buffy in full, just skipping the first season. It's my least favourite.

The shows are similar conceptually, and Lost Girl definitely has a more "grown-up" tone. But in terms of quality, it doesn't hold a candle to Buffy. Besides, part of what makes Buffy brilliant is the perceived innocence of the Scoobies.

I just finished the entire show "G.I. Joe: Renegades." It was basically "The A-Team" meets "G.I. Joe"...down to the stories and the opening credits.

I'll be honest, nothing, yeah, nothing on TV, no series at all, only the old ones. I personally dislike most of the stuff going on TV those days. I'll stick with the old series and some new movies such as Captain Philips.

Thinking... Did they cancel this excellent cartoon because it's license was muddied by those awful movies?

Based on this article, it sounds like the second G.I. Joe film had a similar plot - 'plot' is used loosely, of course - with the tentative second season for the animated series. So, the entire show was scrapped.

I've been watching Fringe, Stargate Atlantis and Gilmore Girls and it's amazing to watch just how quickly they go down hill in the later seasons.
