What are you watching???

Thank's Joel. :)

Fringe was about their budget being slashed. Gilmore Girls was about the producer walking. And Atlantis got more perfect every year.

Mozart in the Jungle.

No. Just no.
Fringe was great for three seasons, the 4th season I remember ditching, and the 5t seasons didn't address and issues that actually needed to be, so there is no conclusion to "Why?"

Gilmore Girls became bad overnight in season 5 with the Rory and Dean BS, then Logan, and became almost unwatchable in season 6 with the Luke storyline. All of this before the creator walked with the biggest "FU" ending in season 6.

Atlantis got worse every year with the show not having a clue what they were doing, killing off characters left and right for no reason, then bringing then back randomly. Replicators? Evil Asgard? Girl Teal'c being pregnant and that horrid storyline. None of that was needed. Making Sam take command of Atlantis even tough Amanda Tapping wanted to leave. I almost made a topic about how bad the choices for that show were.

Esquire is marathoning an older season of American Ninja Warrior.

I didn't know that in the early seasons, they did the whole "Contestants living together and being eliminated one by one" thing. I'm so happy they nixed that. It's so much better just showing qualification runs.

I have no idea what happen in the final episode of Gilmore Girls... That doesn't sound right. How could I not know that? The fervour with which I held this show as my dearest love for half a decade yet... Pffft.

I didn't follow Lorelai to Parenthood, and Liza has become too thin on How To Get Away with Murder, what the hell was America thinking letting Bunheads get cancelled?

AMERRRICA!@!!!!!

Little Alexis did a sitcom that was shelved and did not play in America. It's currently being uploaded to the internet every week after it plays in New Zealand.

...

I am half way through season 4 of Alias. :)

I only watched the last episode in season 7 as I gave up fully on the show in season six after Rory was a bitch for WAAAYYYY to long, and Luke had a daughter, and don't get me started with the Christopher mess.

All of that happened before the creator of the show left.

The finale had a big going away party for Rory who decided to work as an intern covering Obama's run. I enjoyed it.

"The Ghost Breakers" with Bob Hope, Paulette Goddard, and a shockingly young Anthony Quinn--playing twin brothers!

It's a tad late, but I just couldn't resist watching the Blackadder Christmas special again.

I recently watched "I am Number Four" and the original 1947 "Kiss of Death."

Both films were 6/10 for me.

Been watching the Mythbusters Holiday Marathon on Science Channel, every single episode back to back, December 24th through January 2nd. I've had it on pretty much continuously since the beginning, have seen Adam get old and Kari get pregnant, yet Jamie doesn't seem to age...

I watched a few movies I gave a 6 out of 10 to, such as:

  • ...the Eddie Murphy film "Boomerang"...(with a gorgeous 90s Halle Berry and sexy 90s Robin Givens, and two performers who were in Bond films: Geoffrey Holder and Grace Jones). While entertaining, the movie had no real story or goal.
  • ...the 90s Johnny Depp movie "Nick of Time" (which started out pretty well and had a good middle, but the final part was unrealistic, even in the movie's universe).
  • ...the Tim Burton "Batman" film. It was entertaining but doesn't really have a story or strong plot - something that will continue with "Batman Returns." (I still prefer Keaton over Bale, though).
  • ...a movie from Kazakhstan called "Song From the Southern Seas"...
  • ...the Roger Corman 80s flick "Humanoids from the Deep."
