Star Trek Continues, Episode 4...

I always considered the original Daleks to be automated plumbers and at some point they were reprogrammed and upgraded into invincible killing machines. They still have the literal plumber's helper, something that looks like a snake or spinner that can clean out drains pretty well. They'd do a fabulous job in the bathroom.
And in the kitchen. That thing is actually an egg whisk.

Daleks obviously didn't enjoy being domesticated, so they revolted.

COUNTDOWN TO EPISODE IV!

This next episode is going to be a wonderful contrast to the last one. Where "Fairest Of Them All" was a very action packed episode, this next one is a very dramatic story that deals with a theme that all of us can relate to. What is that theme? Here's a clue... it's a five letter word

...there is a big surprise that will be revealed in the video that will launch our upcoming "Kirkstarter". So keep your eyes peeled, keep your hailing frequencies open, and know that all of us here at STC deeply appreciate your enthusiasm and support!

They used the word "crossover" in a hashtag yesterday, but I think it's just a tease and using the word in the broadest possible sense.

Agreed. After all the emphasis on the idea of continuing as if TOS hadn't been cancelled it's highly unlikely they would do an actual crossover.

If that "five-letter word theme" of Continues' fourth episode is "guilt" it could very well be that Baker is indeed playing the Doctor.

I guess we'll find out!

There's a fun tribute music video out on Youtube set in a 60's-TV style. Google it under Star Trek Continues-Suffering Fools. (I was going to link it, but there's a little plug for the Kickstarter, and I guess it isn't allowed).

I didn't think it was possible to improve upon it, but adding music similar to Vina's Orion Dance to Lolani's dance upped the hotness meter. And the way that scene was cut, wow.
I didn't notice the intensity before in the original Lolani scene because it transitioned so quickly, but Fiona's take is right up there with Susan's, imo.

Weird I'm talking about that short little scene and not the video, lol. The little dance Doohan does at the end and Spock's expression was a gem, as was the very final scene with Apollo.

I don't think it should be considered an ad, because it's not made by STC. It's just a tribute song by a band on YouTube, not a page where you pay money for something. Can we get a ruling from the mods about linking or embedding the video?

To me it seems like fans of the series just encouraging people to support it.

Yes, post it. We'll see if it opens some kind of floodgate of people making videos that promote (intentionally? inadvertently?) crowdfunding campaigns. I note that the STC Kickstarter campaign has long-since expired.

Apparently they will only premiere the episode during a major con before releasing it to the public. I understand they've been invited to several so it would be interesting to guess which one will host the premiere.

ETA ..
Maybe Feb/March is a bit too early.. but it would be an interesting game to guess which Con it will be. Their production turn around is pretty fast though..but if the official word is Spring then..

Yeah, I think the original estimates were based on filming in early December, but now everything's moved a month later.
