So I thinking about all this time travel stuff, since we know Wells has knowledge of the future, and his room is like super futuristic, maybe he's actually from the distant future. And his ring is like a personalized Legion ring.
Why would Harry have a Flash ring if he wasn't a Flash?
The Ring opens doors in the time machine.
Are we sure that that "room" is just a time machine?
Maybe the Newspaper is an exhibit?
What if that Reverse Flash Costume in the Time Machine is another exhibit?
How many more exhibits are there?
Wouldn't that mean that the time machine is probably the Flash Museum or part of the Flash Museum and that Wells is a curator and the Flash Ring is probably his pass key for opening locked doors and his employee ID.
Hmmm?
Wells has been in the past for ten years, with complete access to future tech, and all scientific discoveries for at least the next 10 years starting 20 years ago. Harrison could have made that tachyon collector himself at any point without resorting to all that subterfuge. He could have duplicated the tech after having access to it for a couple hours, god forbid 20 years, Wells could have duplicated the tech and had no need to steal it in front of the cops and a murderous supervillain.
"Sigh"
If that yellow suit we saw was an old Reverse Flash costume that's been an exhibit for the last 10 years since Barry kicked "Zoom's" ass, it would be a saturated sponge of Tachyon particles that until now Wells had no method to access and pour into the museum/time ships bone dry feul tank... That is of course if Wells is stuck/lost in time, and not actually exactly where he needs to be.
Zatanna's father was alive for a while...
Yeah Wells doesn't just have the ring and the costume, he spoke in the same voice too. So he's pretty clearly supposed to be at least some version of Reverse-Flash.
Best episode of the season yet. It was very exciting and emotional.
I almost cried when Barry finally professed his love for Iris. Things will be quite awkward between them from now on.
I didn't recognize who was following Caitlyn around until the guy lit up. I would like to see more of Firestorm, even if he's only a supporting cast.
Reverse Flash was interesting. Cisco pointed out to Detective West that there were two streaks, one red and one yellow, that Barry witnessed the night his mother was murdered. Who killed Nora Allen and why? I can't wait to find out!
The Reverse Flash (Wells) killed Nora; it's the identity of the person responsible for generating the red streak of lightning that needs to be revealed (although it's likely Barry).
There's something that's been bothering me ever since the pilot. Kid Barry was driven outside of the house by the *yellow* blur...
Although it's a bit hypocritical to say "I couldn't lie to you anymore" and still hold on to his other big secret of being the Flash. A secret that he still has no compelling reason to keep from her beyond the writers' desire to keep her in the Lois Lane role.
So Wells is Reverse Flash and he's helping Barry become the Flash whyand who the 2nd guy back when Barry was a kid (a future version of himself?). For a second I thought Eddie being left untouched during the battle would lead to him being revealed as the future Reverse Flash.
Or maybe it's simply because he realizes the only person who can save the world in the future is Barry, and everything he's doing now is just to save his own skin down the line.
