I am curious to see what they do with Henry Allen. In the comics, when Geoff Johns introduced the father framed for the mother's murder, Henry Allen died in prison before Barry even became the Flash. I really hated that, just added unneeded layers of tragedy to Barry's past.
The show's approach is a huge improvement. It gives Barry greater motivation to learn the truth. He can free his Dad. Also it makes Henry Allen a real character with whom Barry has an actual relationship. Which has been a great role for John Wesley Shipp. I hope he is cleared and released.
