I no longer care about gear. I got the shadow priest to 90 on an item level of 320, she had been leveled solely by gathering and arch to 85. She was 88 before she died. They have obviously made regular questing waaaaay less gear dependent.

Can you still do the Siege of Orgrimmar?

I'm really determined this time to not get sucked into doing stuff I don't enjoy.

200 queue earlier, then right in two hours later. Seems to be working better.

Tier 2 Garrison now, but needs more stuff.

On another note, Shadowmoon Valley looks lovely compared to last time I saw it a year ago.

Nagrand. Man, remember TBC. Back then, I used to call people who started playing during TBC "stupid TBC kiddies, they don't know how hard everything was before". Now I feel nostalgia for TBC content.

    Oh, the mortality!

Shadowmoon looks great. It really pushes my "The Shire" buttons. I think they did a really great job of making the zone seem large and spread out. A big part of that I think is that you aren't fighting mobs every 5 steps you take off a trail.

Haven't been there yet, is that where the Alliance base is?

I got that frostwolf ghostpup on the first go at Arch. It seems to be the only worthwhile thing there. After this character is lvled she is re-devoting her life to getting the bug mount and I'm leveling the rep grinder. It is pretty cool you can trade MoP and WoD stuff in for other factions finds though it will empty out some areas even more.

I think they added an extra interest to the exploring making it the past of a known continent which is good because there is only so much they can come up with.

I just started up again after many years. I'm on a starter account this time, since my original account has long been hacked all to oblivion and I can't remember any of the pertinent details to get it back, so I'm capped up to level 20 for the moment, but it will let me get a feel for all of the changes, which it looks like there are legion. So I made a human monk, which is fun so far, and a night elf mage, which is very much fun. I also started up a worgen warrior.

I am hoping to get back in at the end of the month. I have a 90 DK ready to roll but I want to boost a hunter.

ETA: @ J. Allen Alliance scum! :p My DK is a Horde but I want the hunter to be Alliance. I never got into only playing one or another, I like races from both factions.

When I first started playing, back in early 2006, a co-worker bought me the game and recommended Horde, because all of my friends/co-workers were Horde. So I picked a Tauren Shaman, and I loved it. I had several characters, but I stopped playing in 2009, and then just futzed around over the next year or so until I stopped completely.

When I started it was just before Cataclysm still kinda during WoTLK, I did a Night Elf Druid, then a Human Warrior and Horde didn't interest me cause I couldn't play Blood Elf. I did have a Forsaken hunter for a bit. I created and deleted so many toons, I had so many close to max and just got rid of them.

The order of excellence of races is this:

    1st greatest race: Orcs
    2nd greatest race: Goblins
    3rd greatest races: Dwarfs

Despite this I have no active dwarfs. Well I did have one but she is now a lvl 90 Orc.

I have never deleted anyone I spent any time with, I still have a lvl 60 something dwarf shadow priest called Kaiwinn. And yes she looks just like Kai Winn. Which is why even though I never play Alliance I can never change her into Horde.

I've had a lot of Trek character names and guilds but NO ONE has ever noticed this. No one. Which is pretty sad. My two bank guilds that are active atm are Trek names and Trek bank alts.

Maintenance. Hopefully that will fix the garrisons a little. That "world" was down tonight on out server. But because of that I finished running my second toon through the Dark Portal (again). A Forsaken DK (who replaced the original Forsaken Warrior, only one I deleted because I didn't like playing a warrior, but wanted to reuse the name). He's racing my Human warlock main, who is ahead of him. I much rather use the warlock as not only is he better armored, I can stand back and nuke easily with a voidwalker (or whatever the upgrade version is called again).

Still waiting on boosting my B. Elf Priest from 61 to 90 for the professions. I'd rather get through to 100 with at least one if not both the other before boosting my only healer.

Th other three Alliance can wait a while. (82 Dwarf hunter, 32 Gnome Mage, 12 Pandaran Shaman). I was going to make a goblin and worgen, but never got to it, plus I think I watched about five people run through those zones during and just after CATA's Beta.

I made a worgen named Foss.

This is an awesome fandom name btw. I feel guilty that once through the starter zone I abandoned him. If anyone can tell me why this is an awesome fandom name I will give them a cookie.

I didn't abandon him because of anything personal, he was a fine worgen. But I cannot hack alliance, my dream is to have a renegade faction of neutral dwarfs I can play. Okay poor old Foss is still a loser in this scenario.
