I've started Metal Gear Solid 2. Its ok so far, although after having played MG3 and MGS Peacewalker, the controls feel a bit too primitive at times. Raiden, who was cool in MGS4, is a bit annoying, but I expected that. It was cool playing as Solid Snake, I wish he'd stayed the main protagonist in this game. In the whole MGS HD Collection of three games, the original Metal Gear hero is in about 1/2 hours of gameplay, and only in this game, which kind of sucks. I like Big Boss, but more Snake would be nice. I really need to play the original Metal Gear Solid someday, and replay MGS 4.
I finished Shadow or Mordor on Friday. Then I got the platinum yesterday. Whoever said the game is hard was wrong. It really isn't. I also finished Dust: An Elysian Tail yesterday. Now I'm deciding what to play next. I should probably finish Arkham Origins at some point.
This keeps being brought up here. Who actually said that? I don't know any reputable source that called that game "hard". Been playing more Skylanders: Swap Force with the fiancé, I continue to be pleasantly surprised by the depth and breadth of content.
^ I frequent a few other messaging boards... and quite a few people have posted that the game is quite hard.
Been playing some new ones I just became familiar with: "Pin the Post on the Troll" "Don't Go Too Far!" This one is a tricky one! You make up GREAT posts based on certain posters, and post them. But be careful! You might get a Flaming Penalty or Personal Foul. "How Many Quotes?" See how many quotes you can quote before no one can remember the sense of the Thread or the OP. "Name That Poster!" You pick the Post, and see if you can identify the Poster. "Adopt a Mod" Pick from the "Deck of Mods" cards, and you take care of that Mods every need for a week. Every need.
Definitely wrong. There were a few challenging parts, I guess, but for the most part the game was pretty damn easy.
Metro: Last Light - been really enjoying it so far though I would like a little more open world to explore the subways.
Metro Last Light is a really cool FPS. I enjoyed it. Yeah, it would've been nice to be just a bit more open-world.
Fallout 3 was addictive to say the least but couldn't get into New Vegas so hopefully 4 will be a return to form. Also stuck on Metro these dam mutated creatures keep killing me as I wait for this boat to reach me (Hate those gaming clichés of hold the line).
I just beat Metal Gear Solid 2. Raiden was a bit annoying, and there were some really annoying elements (like the escort stuff), but it was a decent game with an interesting story. I'm probably going to get MGS4 again, I liked it and I think I'd get more out of it now that I've beaten MGS 2, 3 and Peacewalker. I'm also considering getting the original Metal Gear Solid from PSN so I can play all the MGS games. I don't know what I'll play yet. I have several PSN titles, I might play Parasite Eve or Final Fantasy Tactics, I haven't decided yet.
I see Injustice and inFamous First Light have been announced as the PS+ games for December and January on the PS4.
^ I really enjoyed Fight Light. I actually liked it more than Second Son. Plus I loved doing the arena challenges.
So is anyone getting AC: Unity next week? I pre-ordered my digital copy a while back and I'm quite looking forward to it.
Nope. I still plan on going back and playing Black Flag before that, which isn't possible at the moment BECAUSE TOO MANY GAMES OH DEAR GOD MAKE ME A SINGLE STUDENT AGAIN.
