Enough people died that next season, the Dome is going to effect a mass resurrection, or send someone them, probably the hands, back in time to save some of the deadies. As far as Rebecca is concerned... If she did magically survive somehow, maybe she can quit it with that silly fake Yank accent?
I cannot say anything bad about her accent after seeing this: [yt]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bmf3eyT78C4[/yt] Medical science will never be able to explain what was going wrong in David Tennant's brain while filming that.
But he starts off Scottish, which is a much more difficult corner to work yourself out of than most other accents.
At least I could understand David Tenant. Peter Capaldi ... I wait an extra day to download so I can have subtitles.
(I must be misunderstanding you, because you must know this.) You could understand David in Doctor Who, because he was pretending to be English, which he is not.
Right, I understand that. I looked up his Gracepoint accent and that's terrible as well. But that leaves a question... is his English accent any good? Sounds ok to me. But, I'm not English and thus maybe I can't tell.
So I just finished the season finale, and I'm still confused about one thing: Why am I still watching this show??? It's like it was written by a bunch of stoned tenth graders who think every new twist is oh-so clever and deep. WTF?? Nori called the crater a "giant killer suckhole". I think that's a metaphor for this show.
You watch for the same reason we all watch. Because this is one of the top comedies on television. The comedy being purely unintentional doesn't change that fact.
I'm glad the season's over. Like Extant, the show felt as though the writers were figuring out what to do from week to week. Maybe with the help of a few beers at that.
Under the Dumb is my guilty pleasure. It's so dumb and nonsensical...I can't stop watching it...like a trainwreck.
The writers definitely have no idea what the plot is from week to week. And I can't stand the acting by the girl playing Nori, but to cut her some slack, it's probably crappy plotting and writing, leading to crappy directing. I wonder that the director can actually do anything, since he likely has no idea of the plot line.
Nori had one good scene, actually the best scene in the entire series, when she asked Barbie about his sexlife. "What? We don't have a friendship where we can ask each other questions?" the actress has enough additional inches to her forehead to pass for a Metalunan.
It's too bad Big Jim didn't whack Norrie with the hammer but with that forehead she probably would have deflected it.
