Well, I picked: And the Childrean Shall Lead, Plato's Stepchildren, and Spock's Brain. It's interesting that "Children" is leading this poll, but not that surprising, given the hate it engenders on this BBS. But I always thought "Brain" was the absolute worst. It's a miracle the actors were able to eventually finish their scenes without cracking up, esp. the classic, "Brain and brain! What is brain?" (Answer: it's what that ep lacked!)

"Spock's Brain" is one of the funniest TOS episodes, so there's no way I can call it the worst. "And the Children Shall Lead" features annoying kids and a pretty dumb plot, so it has a basis for being called the worst.

At least "Eden" doesn't try to be anything more than a show about space hippies looking for their own private paradise. No shape-shifting cats and guys with wizard wands...no famous defense attorneys in baggy, frilly mu-mus trying to turn kids into brainwashed little killers...no alternate universe dudes with changing beards.

It's gotta be "And the children shall Lead". I was kind of bummed to see "The Alternative Factor" on the list. The line: "Annihilation Jim, total...complete...absolute annihilation" alone disqualifies this from being the worst.

The Gamesters of Triskellion: Not exactly Kirk at his best. The plot was corny.

I really hate "And the Children Shall Lead" too but I found the insights into Sulu, Uhura, & Chekov's fears interesting like "The Naked Time" had done earlier for Kirk and Spock. The rest of the story sucked!!
