    People,

Well, I picked: And the Childrean Shall Lead, Plato's Stepchildren, and Spock's Brain. It's interesting that "Children" is leading this poll, but not that surprising, given the hate it engenders on this BBS. But I always thought "Brain" was the absolute worst. It's a miracle the actors were able to eventually finish their scenes without cracking up, esp. the classic, "Brain and brain! What is brain?" (Answer: it's what that ep lacked!)

It wouldn't let me vote for 'And The Children Shall Lead' three times.

None of the others even belong on the list.

"Spock's Brain" is one of the funniest TOS episodes, so there's no way I can call it the worst. "And the Children Shall Lead" features annoying kids and a pretty dumb plot, so it has a basis for being called the worst.

Meh, not sure about the third one. "The Way to Eden" IS pretty bad, though...

At least "Eden" doesn't try to be anything more than a show about space hippies looking for their own private paradise. No shape-shifting cats and guys with wizard wands...no famous defense attorneys in baggy, frilly mu-mus trying to turn kids into brainwashed little killers...no alternate universe dudes with changing beards.

I agreed with Red Ranger - "Plato's Stepchildren" & "And The Children Shall Lead" were just flat out nasty, whilst "Spock's Brain" was just too silly to laugh at....

It's gotta be "And the children shall Lead". I was kind of bummed to see "The Alternative Factor" on the list. The line: "Annihilation Jim, total...complete...absolute annihilation" alone disqualifies this from being the worst.

I do believe that at some point each of these had a workable premise...but I haven't a clue where they went.

Alternative Factor. Lazzerus falling all over the place off of cliffs after bothering to climb them was annoying..

The Gamesters of Triskellion: Not exactly Kirk at his best. The plot was corny.

Turnabout intruder: Lame script, corny plot and too far fetched.

I really hate "And the Children Shall Lead" too but I found the insights into Sulu, Uhura, & Chekov's fears interesting like "The Naked Time" had done earlier for Kirk and Spock. The rest of the story sucked!!
