Recent arguments and "top" threads got me thinking... what are your top three WORST episodes?

I think I can poll this... based on what I believe MOST people have expressed as their worst episodes.

I wouldn't say that about 'IS'... I was hoping to cover all "contentious" eps. Just my list though.

Altrnative Fator, The Empath and And The Children Shall Lead.

It was quite hard to choose though, I've probably watched TOS too often to see the true horrors lurking there.....

The interesting thing is I've seen posts by people who count a lot of these episodes amongst their favourites and indeed, some of them are among my favourite third season episodes.

Yes indeedy... hard to choose. People have things they dislike about an ep that's sometimes specific or sometimes over all. And I'm constantly surprised 'The Gamesters of Triskelion' never pops up on peoples lists... even mine! That one is just unwatchable.

See, I can even get something out of all of those. Mostly cringes, but something.

Alternative Factor, the Mark of Gideon, and The Lights of Zetar are just boring.

The logic behind "Gideon" is just patently dumb...a planet of severe, emergency overcrowding...and they have room for a life-size replica of a 1,000-foot-long Federation starship?

The Melvin Belli/Gorgan one sucked and blew chunks even with new CGI effects. What a waste.
