Your thoughts on Star Trek (2009 film)?

What are your thoughts on it? I personally liked it a lot (however I like the real Star Trek more).

I did not like how they didn't successfully (or even attempt to) fix the timeline, so now they are stuck in the alternate reality for an unknown period of time

Well before I vote, what's the real Star Trek?

I liked the movie quite a bit. I felt it paid great homage to the original series without getting bogged down with all the 60's sillyness and camp from the original.

However I still like TNG the series more, and movies like TMP and TUC are on about the same level for me.

Yeah, I like other Star Trek, too; I just included TOS, since I figured that was what he meant by "real." However, perhaps he didn't mean that.
