LD, haven't seen past the S2 finale. Haven't watched SNW yet.
The phrase comes from "No Small Parts" LD season 1, episode 10.
Only saw it once years ago. I'm on a LD re-watch, giving the show a 2nd viewing, S3-4 will be a first-viewing. By the time I'm caught up, the final season will be up, all episodes.

Yeah, I’d say I favour some series over the others, but not eras overall. No era is consistent enough for me to be able to do so.
2009-2024 for me. The modern production look better for obvious reasons. And there is more choice

The reboot trilogy, that is your favorite take on Star Trek so far? May I ask what appeals so much about the trilogy?

I like the trilogy immensely. It’s easy to make a good laundry list of things to like about it.
Weird? No. Uncommon? Maybe. I was just genuinely curious why you enjoyed the trilogy so much. I love the first and third films. The characters and story of Into Darkness are good, but there's so much in the 2nd film that didn't make sense.

I think there are certain eras, like TOS, that appeal more greatly to me for one reason or another. But, for general aesthetic and stories its definitely leans closer to the Reboot films. Tied with TOS.

Despised it when I first saw it on release.
Didn’t watch it again until last week or so and I loved it.
