So I made it. Promotion to Vice Admiral. The mission that earned me my promotion? Glorious delivery of a Bajoran jumja stick to O'Brien's kid on Memory Alpha.
Here the magic moment:

Not long after that I set foot on my newly refitted Galaxy class bridge. My old USS Gallifrey-C ready again to kick butt.
"Take her out, ensign, one quarter impuls!"

My Fed Character's latest mission

A cool team-up I had while on it.

What a coincidence, I did that mission earlier today as well on my Science Lt Commander character.

And Behold my new ship

My first character, a Tactical Captain, flew a Heavy Cruiser when he was a Commander. I'm pretty sure I'm going with the Excelsior instead of the Research Vessel for my Science Captain.

Fair warning the ship plak you get as part of your promotion won't cover the Excelsior you have to use energy credits to buy it and it costs 137,000 so save up.

^ Yeah, I'm thinking I'll go ahead and use the plaque for the Research Science Vessel, then purchase the Excelsior. I have enough EC right now that I could buy it twice over and still have a decent amount left over. At the rate this character is going, she'll have a hell of a lot more EC by the time she hits VA than my current VA does.

Well some fun facts about the Excelsior are that your tactical and science consoles are both lieutenant level so enjoy.

By defaut, the <Prt Scr> key takes a screenshot (default format is .jpg) of what's on you screen and saves it to your:

<STO install drive letter>:\<whatever user specified STO install path>\Cryptic Studios\Star Trek Online\Live\screenshots

folder.
