Eh, DS9 is done. The only thing that I'd like to see with that series from now on would be maybe a TV movie where they actually bring Bajor into the Federation, but even that's unnecessary.
Nope, because there is simply no way to cast better actors than, or even comparable to, the immaculate actors that the original DS9 had. They had dozens of master actors, who were literally among the best on the planet, and among the best who have ever lived. Trying to recast those roles with lesser actors would just come off as poorly-done cheap imitation rehash.
IMO that is exactly the same problem that the new Trek movie will also run into, since Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and Scotty were so immaculately-played the first time that they are also unrecastable.
