fan theory: Michael Burnham died in prison, and what we see is actually Linus in disguise as the longest running (1000+ years) practical joke in history from Starfleet's party animal. I can't really explain the scenes when they're both on camera at the same time and I am going to ignore that.

If I have to include ALL Trek, probably TNG, mainly for its episode count. It and VOY seem to be the ones I gravitate toward as well, and it's the less frustrating of the two.

If it's just nu Trek (which I think has to be explored because the much shorter seasons gives it too big a disadvantage otherwise), it's a tough call between PRO and SNW. They're both fantastic shows. I'd probably go with SNW because I know we're getting a 3rd season, and probably more. PRO's future beyond S2 is hazier.

TOS crew. The Kirk-Spock- McCoy dynamic is the best, and Scotty is highly entertaining.

DS9 is probably second. Great extended ensemble.
