What's your oldest active thread (thread you've started, that is.)

Mine is

Let's insert Madeline into a Trek scene!

Started on May 19, 2007. Last posted on February 10, 2010. (Though it was Necro'd a few times.)

To find out click above on the drop-down menu on "Search" in the menu bar and select "Advanced Search."

Type your current User Name in the "User Name" text bar on the right side (under "Search by User Name".) Select "Find Threads by User" in the drop down menu under the text bar.

Left-side of the screen about half way down "Sort results by:"

Change left drop-down to "Thread Start Date" and right drop-down to "In Ascending Order." Below select the radial for "Threads."

Share links to your oldest active thread here! If you're not one to make threads go ahead and post the oldest post you have, by changing some of the settings in the search function above.

Re: Grade "Judgment" in the Enterprise forum, made April 9, 2003. Thread closed almost 5 years later after being Necro'd.

Out of respect for these dead threads, and the mods, let's not Zombify them and just look at them and remember what once was.

I had a stuffed toy when I was a child, and it developed a hole in it from which some of the stuffing was coming out. I managed to patch it up with my mother's sewing kit, and the toy remained secure to this day.

The sewing material used remains my oldest active thread.

My oldest active thread is almost certainly the GTD Welcome Thread, but that's because I can cheat and make it stickied. Started Jan 21, 2010 and still going strong (I didn't make the poll, though).

(By active, I assumed you meant one with posters still coming in and posting, as opposed to one still technically open. If it's the latter, then all my threads are still active, I think. The oldest is from March 30, 2011.)

By "active" I guess I mean "still able to be gotten to" and "not pruned."

Just FYI, you can find all threads started by someone (yourself or anybody), by going to their Profile -> Statistics tab -> Total Posts group box -> Find all threads started by ___.

At some point the ban on long threads was lifted and that happened to coincide with a running sticky I had started on June 8 2007, 10:14 AM: the video-thread in Misc. (I had a different name for it though, but tptb changed that because someone didn't like it.)

Just FYI, you can find all threads started by someone (yourself or anybody), by going to their Profile -> Statistics tab -> Total Posts group box -> Find all threads started by ___.

That's not as thorough as using the "Search" function, though. It only gives the top 100 or so results.
