Today I bought this marvelous encyclopedia for a ten year old boy who is hungry for knowledge.
And since he'll be starting swimming lessons in three weeks I also got him a new pair of swimming shorts. Best quote of the day: "May I have them in blue? Because when I swim I like to pretend that I'm a shark!"

Just got accepted into the student exchange program. again... they messed up my application last time. Washington DC or Maine depending on the number of students. Dc is a quite popular area. 7000 euros, thats more than i payed for my car lol.
I just bought another round of books and four more Hellboy collections. 
I also bought a copy of "Joe vs the Volcano" with Tom Hanks on DVD. The movie is crap but it makes me laugh.

I bought a whole lot of water today, and a haircut.
I was also just about to buy a new laptop, but it turned out that the specs reported in the catalogue were wrong, so I ended up feeling a bit disappointed and let down. Stupid catalogue writers.
The search continues.
My latest arrival is a children's book illustrated by my favourite illustrator, Maraja. Unfortunately the book is in Hebrew. As I mainly wanted it for the illustrations and as it was 1/4 of the price of the cheapest English version I could locate I bought it.

My latest actual purchase is the book "Arbella: England's Lost Queen" by Sarah Gristwood which is a biography of Lady Arabella Stuart. I recently read about Arbella is a biography on the Grey sisters. I didn't even know of Arbella's existence before that.

because it popped up as a suggestion from my Wish List when I bought the former, and because it's still one of my favorite movies from when I was a kid and I can't believe I still don't own it.
