RoJo: Congratulations! Now you need a trek fish to go on it!

TM, ahhhhh...."Somewhere in Time". A good cry guaranteed every time...on so many levels. Such a beautiful sad story....and Chris was such a beautiful man, inside and out. How i love that movie! You and I....we ARE twins separated at birth you know!

I just bought my first car without a co-signer! Yay good credit!

yay no more minivan. Now you might actually be able to get laid.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Seriously, congratulations, man. :bolian: What'd ya get?

2006 Chevy HHR. It's orange and goofy-looking, but I love it. I'll take some pictures tomorrow when it's actually light outside.

Good for you! I say, if you're gonna do it, go for the gusto! Who wants a boring colored car?

I do; I do know that.

I figure I'll watch it in a couple weeks when I'm laid up with my knee. And really looking forward to it.

The Buddy Holly story, too. I was a huge fan as a kid, probably because my father had been as a teenager. And, watching that movie with my dad was the first time I ever saw him cry. Not bawl, mind you, but there was definitely a tear running down his cheek at the end.

LOL! And I think it was the last decent non-freakish thing Gary Busey did.

Okay, here she is. Everyone, meet Agent Walker:

Ha, I thought about it, but they're out of stock!

All you crazy people bought them all.

I just checked the site, they expect to have them back in stock on the 23rd. SHARP looking car Roger, enjoy it and drive it in good health!

TREKKIEMONSTER:

And Busey's son picked up right where he left off too. That guy has played more weirdos than i have hairs on my head!

Before i had kidney surgery a few years ago i stocked up on a whole bunch of new DVDs to watch while i was laid up. And most of the ones i purchased were movies from my childhood...comfort food in a sense. I bought the Beatles' "Help" and "A Hard Day's Night", "The Trouble with Angels" (Hayley Mills!), "Cat Ballou", "Charade" and a couple of others. There's nothing like old movies to watch when you're convalescing! And of course, i watched all the Trek movies too......

Can't exactly compete with a car :p, but I just bought some DVD's.

I was watching Beverly Hills Cop the other day, and suddenly got an Eddie Murphy fix, so I just bought Raw, Delirious, Coming to America and Trading Places.

I've seen them all before of course, even had some of them on VHS, but the VHS cassettes were thrown out years ago, so I thought why not buy the DVD's. ;)

Yeah, Chevy HHR. This one is a 2.4L. I had never even heard of the car before, and now I see them all over the place!

"Coming to America" is one of my favorite Eddie Murphy movies, if not THE favorite. :bolian:

Today I unfortunately set foot in a Game store, and I got out with a copy of something quite silly. :D

It was on sale for a ridiculous price and I was in the mood for something mindless and funny. :)

I ADORE The Trouble with Angels. It is a beautiful movie. If you're a Hayley Mills fan/fanatic, you should find The Chalk Garden and watch it. She stars opposite Dame Wendy Hiller, Deborah Kerr, and her father John Mills. It's creepy and atmospheric, and not at all like the roles she usually played at that age. The sets, the locations, the music, the costumes - it's all just wondermous. :techman:

I feel like purchasing many more things just so I can see how much I can fit in my trunk.

considering the size of the thing compared to the background, you can begin by checking if a Mini Cooper fits. if you take out the seats you might even fit my saab into that thing lol.
