A used Canon EF-S 55-250mm lens, a refurbished Canon 430 EX II and a few accessories (some lens hoods and bags and stuff). The cheap accessories have already shipped while the fun, expensive stuff has not :(

I also acquired nearly $200 in golf shirts for nothing. I'm glad that investment/ mutual fund wholesalers aren't restricted on giving away swag. :D

It's the grease that keeps these sorts of systems working... good haul! :techman:

It is indeed. :D

And what's nice about the shirts is that the broker/dealer logo is very discrete and you have to look for it, unlike ones in the past where it was very obvious.

I caved to the new leggings trend and also bought a pair of moccasins to wear during cooler weather.

My boots are too heavy for daily use and flip flops just aren't cutting it for my cold toes. :( It took me forever to find a pair of flats I could wear, too-I have insanely odd heels that blister with about 95% of shoes, no matter how 'broken in'.

I understand the scarf, it probably goes nice with your skin tone, but olive green??

I love this shade of green, and I have a wool jacket of the same shade to pair it with. It's probably not as obvious a green as you're imagining...

Beer, a tin full of butter cookies, a package of Oreos and three prescriptions. Plus two $25 co-pays for me and my son to see the doctor today.

OK Ms Bogart, I think you're right, I wouldn't say it's olive green though.

I think it would suit you actually.

Why, thank you. :D I do think playing mafia wars may have had some sort of subliminal effect...

Wool or rabbit fur felt?

This one is wool. I have been thinking about getting a decent quality Indy style hat though, but haven't found a convincing one. I would probably do better searching online...

I'd recommend Akubra for reasonably-priced, decent-quality rabbit fur felt hats. The Federation IV style is meant to be an Indy hat simulacrum.

My latest purchase : Masterpiece Optimus Prime. Still hasn't arrived yet... Before that, an 8' Indy bullwhip

As for the Federation IV, I've got one (a Fed IV deluxe), and it's a great hat. Highly recommend if you're looking for a resonably priced one. There's also the Adventurebilt Henry to consider. I don't have one, but the pictures are quite nice. Adventurebilt hand-made the hats for the last Indiana Jones movie. They do take orders for the hand-made ones, but the wait times are quite lengthy. The Henry is their less expensive mass-production version of the hat.

BSG: The Plan, towing services to save me and my car from imminant death, and repair shop services after the before-mentioned car decided to not start after the previously mentioned rescue.
