The latest novel in the series I am reading, plus a cute little charcoal grey dress, originally $78.00. How much did I pay? $9.99. :)

Good deal!

New ankle boots!

Pair #1

You see, I'd really like these if they actually buttoned up all the way to the top rather than the faux non-working fold-over.

I failed to buy the jade-coloured Dunhill briefcase I had my eye on in eBay. All kinds of sexy but the damn mobile internet connection flaked just as I tried to put in my bid with a minute to go. Would likely have won, too, based on the final winning bid. Should have set a snipe earlier... :(

Monsters Vs Aliens on DVD, with the extra B.O.B. movie...
Monsters Vs Aliens is a fun movie, haven't seen the B.O.B. one yet...

Bought a couple of expensive things this weekend:

Bought this Philips 19" LCD TV for my office - http://www.consumer.philips.com/c/t...9-inch-class-digital-tv-19pfl3504d_f7/prd/us/ - Got it at Walmart for $198, now I can have TV in my office while I work. Pretty good specs on a budget LCD, 19", HDTV Tuner, 16:9, 720p and 1080i, 2 v1.3 HDMI ports, perfect for my office.

I also bought a nice L shaped desk for my office at Staples - http://www.staples.com/Z-line-Desig...uct_SS1046715?cmArea=SC2:CG33:DP4543:CL164556 - Bought both pieces and the connecting corner piece to make the L shaped desk, cost me $400, but free shipping, now I'll have a nice desk in my office.

I work out of my home, so my home office is pretty important, finally getting it setup the way I want it. That's all I can buy on this months pay check hehe, gotta wait for next month's pay check to buy more things, now it is just gas and food that is all I can buy until then :o

I've been shopping too

Today, it was tickets w/ popcorn and nachos to see Where the Wild Things Are then off to Walmart where I got a new, but small, surround sound stereo dvd set for my room and a dvd stand for my tv dvds, of which I bought season 4 of SG:A :techman:

Bought a lovely brass medallion at the Renaissance Fair. It has the Claddagh on one side and the Scottish Thistle on the other.

I bought headphones for my mobile, a fresh fruit salad from M&S (yummy! ), an old-fashioned kitchen container for loose leaf tea.

I bought some Halloween candy today, since our local store always runs out when it gets too close to Halloween.

I also recently picked up "Pushing Daisies" on DVD and have been watching it. Very cool show, too bad I'm down to the last three episodes.

And last night I bought 10 dollars worth of time on Skype so I could call the girl I love in Japan on her cell phone. I only used a dollar of it so far and it was fantastic, and I look forward to using the rest and more.

A microcassette voice recorder to record phone conversations. I've got some potential legal issues with my landlord and I need to eliminate the he said/she said factor if it goes to court. Microcasette rather than digital; it's harder for a defendant to claim I altered a recorded conversation if its on a difficult-to-edit microcassette versus a absurdly easy-to-alter digital recorder.

I also bought 2 SD cards for my camera (2 for 1 special).

Catching up...

Halo Encyclopedia
Doctor Who The Visual Dictionary Revised and Expanded
Star Wars The Essential Atlas
Superman Secret Files and Origins 2009
Wizards #216 and 217
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 2002 The Complete Series

That's covers the last month and a half pretty much.
