After my shirt-ordering blow-out yesterday, I'm on a clothes-buying moratorium for the rest of March. Will I make it? Place your bets now, ladies & gentlemen! :D

I failed. The (many) skeptics were right. Curse you all. I lasted all of 6 days.

As one of my philosophy professors always said, "As a being is, so it acts. As a being acts, so it is."

:D

My recent purchases include new license plates for the truck and van and a replacement piece for my gas grill. The rear burner support had a couple of holes in it and in an effort to not buy a new grill, I'm replacing the part.

I just bought Empire: Total War. It's installing right now.

I can't wait to crush the American rebels!

Bought it yesterday, the Special Forces edition even...

I wanted to check out the Special Forces edition, but couldn't find it, and I didn't want to wait another week or so to go back to the store. =)

What's extra in the Special Forces edition? Extra units? Battles? ...?

I wanted to buy about half their dresses, but I just bought two casual dresses from ModCloth.

Well, the new watch I ordered arrived today. :)

It's a Hamilton G.C.T. navigational watch, dating to the Korean War. These were mounted in aircraft cockpits to serve as the master time reference. The dial's quite utilitarian, but the movement is a beauty. The 22-jewel calibre 4992B is a 24-hour variant of the 992B railroad watch movement, arguably one of the finest watch movements ever made.

6 extra units that are activated through a code on steam and a Map of the world in the game...

And yesterday i bought one of these online, so now i'm waiting for the delivery(2 to 4 weeks):

No idea which one they will send me...

Automatic dishwasher gave it up yesterday. Last night, Mrs.Q2 and I went to Sears and bought a new KitchenAide stainless steel one. Gotta go pick it up on Friday night. Installation will begin on Saturday morning, possible hospital visit on Saturday afternoon, water damage to everything on Saturday late-afternoon....

I picked up the DVDs of Milk and Rachel Getting Married today. I also found some great beading stuff- I'm working on some interesting jewelry designs and what I found today is really going to help! Like this:

It's delightfully tacky! I can't wait to use it in something.

Sounds like the last time my parents got a new washing machine...it had a hose problem and flooded the kitchen with its first use! :scream:

I picked up this great lightweight jacket at Coldwater Creek--just got it in the mail yesterday. It was originally $99.50, then put on sale for $30, and I had a 25% off coupon. Cha-ching!

I love it. I needed a nice black jacket to wear. It's pretty much always warm here, but the restaurants and theaters are always cold because the A/C is set to Arctic Blast. Now I don't have to worry about my jacket spoiling my outfit.
