A birthday present to myself!
They are comfy and fun and look fantastic with my black sweater dress.

I'm in the market for a similar pair. Would you mind posting or pm'ing the details?

:)

You find some like that and I'm definitely staying out of your way in the Skyway

Caffeinated and booted would be scary combination! :D

Un-caffeinated and booted would be scarier. :D

Caffeinated and scary or un-caffeinated and scarier, we'll look sexy in them either way ;)

Captain Craig, I think I liked it better when you were posing with Playboy models and had the 'deer caught in headlights' look on your face. :p

Well they aren't Playboy models but give me a second and reconvene in the picture thread for some of the gals that were at this dinky local show.

Joseph Smith: Rough Stone Rolling by Richard Bushman
Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons
Ultimate Spider-Man vol. 20 by Brian Bendis and Stuart Immonen

I bought some groceries last night --- mixed salad greens, green onions, organic milk, whole-wheat organic pasta, and a bottle of Chivas Regal scotch.

My google-fu is strong.

I agree, very nice boots.

I think I'm becoming a sherry fiend. Last week I bought a bottle of Oloroso, today a bottle of Oloroso Cream. Haven't even finished the Oloroso, but wanted the variety. Something about the colder, wetter days is just crying out for a glass of sherry of an evening.

Now, those boots would go nicely with a Catholic schoolgirl skirt, a white blouse and a tie. I'm sure Holdfast can recommend a nice tie.

^ Heh. One of my coworkers was wearing a set of boots similar to those earlier in the week. She lets me get away with all manner of sexual innuendo (it's a running gag), but I don't think boot fetishes were covered in the agreement.

1 Ammunition box, 6"X12" OD Green
100 Rounds 7.62X54R
Dragon Ball Z, Season 5
one Titanium Die-Cast Starwars waker
made the wal-mart clerk give me a VERY funny look

That would have been fun to see.

often times i buy strange combinations of items just to see the looks I get, i'll go to Academy sports & outdoors and buy pistol and shotgun ammo, then while i am there,i will get my kid sister a Minnie Mouse float vest or a tinkerbell fishing pole

How the heck do you do that? :wtf:

I've never been too fond of sherry but maybe I just haven't tried the good stuff. Last night I was drinking some Barbera d'Asti myself. :)

I've just realized I didn't spend a dime yesterday! Maybe I need to run out for a latte. :D

There are currently 480 bottles of beer sitting in my kitchen, but... I didn't purchase them. The Liberal Arts Society did. :techman:

I'd say you're entitled to a cut. Maybe... 10%? That'd be reasonable.

Considering it's three days later before I can even begin to look at a computer screen again, I was well compensated.

*cradles head*

I'm getting too old for this shit.

The Liberal Arts College's student association. No, it doesn't really make it sound any better, does it?

How many will be left for them?

Would it be terrible if I said that they ran out by about 1:00am? Maybe if I specify that there were about 60-100 people here, most of them by 9:00 or 10:00pm.

Didn't think so. I have nothing to do with it, however. I just know a lot of people who do, including, as of this Saturday, an entirely new crop of them. The gap just keeps getting wider too. I can't believe that eighteen year-olds are now seven years my juniour.
