Came back with a few things today...

:D

1996 R. López de Heredia Rioja Crianza Viña Gravonia (x2)
2005 Domaine Raspail-Ay Gigondas
2005 Eyrie Vineyards Pinot Meunier
1990 Château Soutard
1985 Château Soutard

(also bought a 2005 J. Fernandez de Arcaya Galdiano Navarra Vina Perguita but it's already drunk by time of taking the photo this evening! :) )

You're gonna drink all that in one night?!

Nah!

The Navarra was polished off (with company though).

The 85 Soutard is for a friend's dinner party on Saturday (everyone's bringing a fairly decent bottle, for blind tasting purposes, and this is my contribution).

The 90 Soutard and the 2 bottles of white rioja are all drinking now, but will age nicely for a little longer, so will sit in my rack for a few years yet.

The Eyrie should age reasonably, being from a decent USA vineyard that understands Pinot, but how long to wait will be a bit of crapshoot. I'm guessing it will be best in about 3-5 years time.

The Gigondas is an every day drinker, so will get drunk within a couple of years, I'm sure.

I just picked up volumes 5 and 6 of Taschen's Domus Reprint Collection. For those who don't know, Domus is an Italian architecture and design magazine which has been one of the most highly regarded periodicals in the field. Of course these volumes cover the 1960's. I also picked up a copy of Architecture: Action and Plan, by Peter Cook of Archigram fame on Ebay.

I bought this machine-washable, lace top from the Coldwater Creek website. I had a gift card that was burning a hole in my pocket.

I bought a book on Scotland. The next big purchase I want to do is a trip over there.

I could have saved you some money. It's full of Scottish people, except Edinburgh which is full of Australians and English, everybody talks in an indecipherable accent and they put Mars bars in batter a lot. :p

I just bought two Vanishing Lace bras and three Vanishing Edge lace hipster panties from Soma. Total? $97. Hubby will be pissed. But he's the one who said I needed to get pretty underwear.

That sounds like Texas--only substitute "Mars bar" with "Snickers."

We do Milky Way bars too. I had one of each at the fair last night.

What do you mean indecipherable, I can understand everyone.

Let's see aside from the fried Milky Way and Snickers bars, corn dog, fried turkey leg and stawberry lemonade at the fair I purchased:

Bait Shop - DVD
Beavis and Butthead volume 1 DVD
a sketch pad

You left off funnel cake and cotton candy ;)
