Came back with a few things today...
![]()
1996 R. López de Heredia Rioja Crianza Viña Gravonia (x2)
2005 Domaine Raspail-Ay Gigondas
2005 Eyrie Vineyards Pinot Meunier
1990 Château Soutard
1985 Château Soutard
(also bought a 2005 J. Fernandez de Arcaya Galdiano Navarra Vina Perguita but it's already drunk by time of taking the photo this evening!)
You're gonna drink all that in one night?!
Nah!

The Navarra was polished off (with company though).
The 85 Soutard is for a friend's dinner party on Saturday (everyone's bringing a fairly decent bottle, for blind tasting purposes, and this is my contribution).
The 90 Soutard and the 2 bottles of white rioja are all drinking now, but will age nicely for a little longer, so will sit in my rack for a few years yet.
The Eyrie should age reasonably, being from a decent USA vineyard that understands Pinot, but how long to wait will be a bit of crapshoot. I'm guessing it will be best in about 3-5 years time.
The Gigondas is an every day drinker, so will get drunk within a couple of years, I'm sure.
