I finally got my Johnny Bucket the other day and put it all together. Unfortunately it's too rainy and wet to try it out much. It should be good for snow as well.

Mine was last month and I should hopefully be finally (and I do mean FINALLY too) getting my birthday present as well. But it's a secret.
We went to Best Buy today and I finally got a new chair! I'll be working some serious *@#! overtime next month, and the chair I'm using is hubby's old, vinyl office chair--from about 10 years ago!
SO, I tried a bunch of chairs, and decided I liked this one for the lower back support, the mesh material on the back, and that it was less than $85.
I do find it funny, though, that it's called an "Octane." What---so I can sit faster?

Well, I've taken a few steps to protect my interests. Last night, all my beds went up on five inch lifts. That should make it so the puppy can't reach the nightstand... unless he jumps ON the nightstand.

I also canceled my order for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. The reviews haven't been too kind, but if I do get it, Toys R Us is rumored to be giving out a $20 gift card if you buy it on the PS3 or 360.

I bought a new pair of New Balance sneakers today.
Yet ANOTHER high speed internet modem....along with the second trip to my house in as many weeks by the Bellsouth repair guy, who still has no clue why my home internet access has all of a sudden become intermittent.
