Last thing I got was 40 (or so) Litres of Fuel for the car. (Worked out at £1.19 a litre)

That's pretty damn pricey. The station I use is now at £109.9 (though my car needs the higher octane Optimax, which is about 5 or 6p per litre more expensive). There must be a cheaper place near you.

My Wine Atlas arrived last night. I'm planning on being a real geek and taking it to a wine tasting next week.

Bah, I refuse to recognize any atlas that doesn't not include Canada, in particular BC. I've been drinking lovely BC wines for years now, and am now getting more and more locally. I live within a few hours of well over a dozen wineries.

Bought today: 2 books at the thrift shop (the first Lemony Snicket, and a tawdry romance novel)

I just got a custom earpiece for my Jawbone from averysound.com.

It's pretty cool - they send you stuff to make a molding of your ear. You then send that back to them. They make an earpiece which has many advantages:

1. It doesn't fall out, and doesn't require a band to go around your ear. Very secure, very comfortable.
2. It blocks out other sound, helping you hear better
3. You can lower the volume of your bluetooth - remember, it blocks out other sound! I now have my blue tooth on the lowest possible volume setting. Heck, I would go lower if I could!

I highly recommend this. I love it!

It's Diesel unfortunately (and that's with a 5p per litre off). The petrol prices vary from around 109-114 locally. I remember when there used to be only 1p difference

I've thought about getting a custom earpiece for my bluetooth. It really annoys me when it slips out sometimes. Didn't know where to go to get one though, so thanks for the tip.

Yes. It's also pretty much the only petrol station between home and work. When I've got time though, I usually check out the fuel comparison websites to see where the prices are generally at.

I woke up this morning to find I had an email for coupon for 25% off anything at Coldwater Creek--but it was only good for the weekend. So I zipped over to the local store and bought the shirt I've been desperately wanting. It had mysteriously disappeared from the website, so I was very happy to find it at the store. Their stuff sells out very fast, so I've learned to either get it then and there or just forget it.

It was regularly $49.50 but I got it for 25% off plus tax.

Hubby will be pissed as hell, but I don't care. Next week is my birthday, so this is an early present to myself.
